Boont House

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. The space Charming home right in the heart of Boonville walking distance to just about everything the town has to offer. Renovated in recent years with updated plumbing and electricity, the house retains the original charm in the details. Wood floors, large trim, picture ledges and built in cabinets and bookcases add warmth and grace to the space. The larger bedroom offers a king sized bed, night tables with Anker charging stations on each one to keep all your electronics running. In the closet you will find not one, but two, suitcase racks. I don't know how many times I've stayed somewhere and there's only one and there's two of us with suitcases! In the corner there is also a wonderful old chair from my family home that I recently had recovered for this space. This room also has baseboard heat for cool nights. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and two night tables with Anker charging stations. This room has a beautiful old Lane hope chest I recently found at an estate sale in the Valley. The closet here also has two suitcase racks and there's also a baseboard heater for cool nights. The bathroom is old and new - the pedestal sink is clearly original, but the shower is from this century. There's plenty of towels, a space heater and a hair dryer in this tidy space. The large kitchen is fully equipped. There's a coffee maker and an electric kettle. A microwave can heat something up quickly and there's a toaster for your morning breakfast. I provide a few teas, but let you bring your own favorite coffee or you can walk down the street to Mosswood or the General Store for a cup. A full size refrigerator and a propane powered range complete the set up. The living room has a couch and two comfy chairs plus a large coffee table. The chimney was removed during renovations, but an electric fire provides both heat and ambience. There's also a heat pump in this room for either heat or air. The dining room has a large table and four chairs plus the beautiful built in glass-fronted cabinetry original to the home. The art in here (and some in the living room) is from a collection of wine related wood cuttings that were gifted to my husband and complete this space. Outside on the front patio is a metal table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon libation. We do feed a feral kitty here and maybe you'll get a chance to spy her (but don't approach - she's very skittish). The back yard is fully fenced.
