Location Situated opposite the Grade I listed Stott Park Bobbin Mill, and just minutes from the Lakeside ferry and hotel, the barn is ideally located for exploring Windermere, Finsthwaite’s High Dam, and the wider Lake District. It’s tranquil, yet incredibly well-connected to heritage sites, walks, and water. The Barns is well situated for easy exploration of the Lakes- 15 minute car journey to Windermere, Grizedale , Hawkshead , Cartmel and Grange-over-sands. Guest access You’ll have exclusive access to the barn and gardens. Note: a third attic bedroom exists but is currently used for storage and not included in the rental. The Barn is attached to Hunters Fold cottage. Other things to note Bedroom 2 has two single beds as standard, with the option to be configured as a double bed if requested. A 5th foldup/campbed can be made available if requested. It can be set up in one of the bedrooms or the living space or mezzanine. Sky gigabyte internet is provided. The Barns is a mid 20th century barn conversion with a unique authentic character. Built into the fellside there are naturally changes in levels to negotiate and steps take you from the drive up to the entrance. The driveway is steep - if you have a car with lowered suspension care should be taken when accessing the drive.
