The Bougainvillea House

Just off the ECR Road on the beach side, located in a safe gated community, life feels easy - barefoot in the grass, cool morning air & the beach a 3-minute walk away. The villa & the garden are also quite spacious with 3 washrooms & enough space for 7 adults to comfortably sleep in. The house has books to read, games to play & a kids splash pool. Children love the space & solo travellers feel safe. There is also plenty to do nearby, with heritage sites & many eateries close at hand. The space The property is located inside a gated community with CCTV in common places and 24/7 security guard. Upstairs, the bedrooms feel like a cosy treehouse, with books, games, a TV nook, and a small pantry for coffee or tea. There are 2 bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom that comes with heaters, hand-washes, body washes and Biotique shampoos with conditioners. For sleeping arrangements along with a queen sized bed, two single beds, we also provide 3 extra mattresses that can comfortably accommodate 7 guests. Downstairs, wide doors open to the garden. There’s a full kitchen if you’d like to cook, or our cook can come by. You’ll also find a dining table, sofas for long conversations, garden chairs, and a barbecue. In addition, please note that this is a non smoking villa with smoke detectors installed and we don’t allow loud parties with excessive alcohol. Important message: As mentioned this property is right off ECR road - the national highway making it easy to reach and find along with all the mentioned sites, restaurants & amenities nearby. But we can’t & won’t be responsible for normal highway traffic & other sounds outside our premises if any. There are no noises inside the gated community & property as promised. Guest access The whole Villa is yours along with the private garden and barbecue pit. You also have 2 private car park spaces. You’re welcome to have a photoshoot, cake cutting, anniversary celebration, or even a proposal at the villa. Just let us know in advance. As long as it’s not equipment-heavy or crew-intensive, there’s no extra charge. Other things to note Sunrises and sunsets here are especially beautiful - don’t miss them. With all the trees around, the sit-out stays breezy and perfect for a quiet cup of tea or a good book. The beach is within walking distance, and while the villa feels tucked away in nature, most essentials are close by. Right around you, there’s plenty of good food. Across the road, Delhi Dhaba does hearty North Indian dishes that feel homely and familiar. Walk a little and you’ll find ECR Border Parotta - a local go-to for South Indian comfort food. If seafood’s on your mind, Moonrakers is only a short drive away, lively and full of coastal flavours. And for something sweet, Coffee & Cones is nearby with gelato and fresh bakes. You’re also next door to ITC Welcomhotel and just a few steps from Radisson Blu Temple Bay - great if you feel like a spa, a cocktail, or a more polished dinner before returning to your own quiet space. And just FYI we use strategy organic floor cleaner and garden mosquito repellent that doesn’t have chemicals so the floors are relatively safe for kids and pets :)
