The space A serene five-bedroom + Casita, five-and-a-half-bath estate nestled in the heart of Sonoma’s bucolic Bennett Valley AVA. This spacious updated 3-level ranch house with copious amenities is perfect for large groups, family vacationers (comfortably accommodates 3 families), food and wine aficionados, and groups attending weddings and events. All the outdoor amenities—saltwater pool + hot tub, bocce ball court, fire pit, Wolf BBQ, Green Egg, kids’ play structure, and outdoor dining - plus all the indoor comforts—two large living rooms, three primary suites each with ensuite bathrooms, wine fridge, a fully stocked kitchen with high-end appliances, and a spacious laundry room—make The Haven the perfect Wine Country retreat! The home: At the heart of the home lies a spacious and inviting Great Room, perfect for gathering and unwinding. The Great Room is anchored by a 10-person farm table and is conveniently located next to the kitchen, a large island with seating, living area with a comfortable sofa, stacked stone fireplace and a television/entertainment center featuring a Sonos sound system. East of the Great Room, step down to a cellar room with a 65 inch television, leather sofa anchored by 2 inviting throne chairs, round table with seating for 4, one half bath, and laundry room. There is a locked wine cellar for your viewing pleasure (no guest access). West of the Great Room are five bedrooms + four bathrooms in the main house: Main Level: * Primary Bedroom: King bed, dedicated workspace, spa-like modern ensuite bathroom with heated floors and walk-in shower + tub. Private outside sitting area and direct access to pool / hot tub area. * King Room: Spacious bedroom with king bed, cozy sitting cove, and stunning pool + mountain views. * Queen Room: Comfortable and well-appointed with a queen bed. * Full Room: Thoughtfully designed with a full-size bed. * Two beautiful full bathrooms with walk-in showers are adjacent to the guest rooms. Casita: Steps from the pool and hot tub, the Casita is a retreat of its own. A large circular driveway behind the automatic gate welcomes guests. The outdoor kitchen with Wolf bbq, Green Egg and sink plus outdoor dining for 8 are ideal for day time cookouts. The fire pit with seating for 4 is perfect for a late night s'mores session. The salt water pool is surrounded by 6 lounge chairs with adjoining side tables covered by 2 fully adjustable 12-foot umbrellas that can be rotated to provide coverage over the pool or those lounging — your choice! The salt water hot tub is a few steps away from the pool and easily accommodates 5 adults. The kids' play structure is sure to occupy your littles, featuring a slide, swings, climbing wall and lookout tower while the bocce ball court and cornhole set for the lush lawn will entertain the adults. Other things to note * Guests receive a complimentary wine tasting (with one purchased) at Matanzas Creek Winery — a scenic estate just minutes from the property. * Quiet hours are from 9PM–7AM, per Sonoma County ordinance. * No parties, weddings, events, or outdoor amplified music are permitted per Sonoma County ordinance. * No pets and no smoking/vaping allowed anywhere on the property. * The pool is solar heated so only available for use May - October. * Security: Cameras are located at the front door, driveway, and over the pool. Outdoor noise-monitoring devices are in place. All devices are to ensure safety and compliance. * Wildlife: We are in the countryside so there will be occasional wildlife activity on our property. We do our best to live peacefully with nature and try being respectful of their habitat, but if ever in doubt about safety please do not approach or try to touch. There are some insects that come with living in nature- spiders, ticks, ants, flies, bees etc. We always try to do our best to keep them out of the house, but if the doors are open a lot, they can get in. Please be aware that we occasionally have deer on our property, even with the best attempts to keep them out. There have been garden snakes (small and harmless), California King snake (can bite if threatened but not venomous), and Rattle Snakes (dangerous, please do not approach). Please be a little more cautious on the field and watch your step. Ticks are popular in Sonoma County, so please do practice daily tick checks. We have also seen some skunks, raccoons and foxes on the property. Please be aware that there might be a mountain lion roaming at night, please no overnight camping in the yard.
