The cottage is decorated in a Swedish Gustavian inspired style with new and Georgian furniture pieces, each individually sourced, and offers a perfect 'staycation' retreat in an idyllic village setting: ideal for ramblers looking to enjoy the surroundings, couples wanting a romantic setting, small families or business travellers wanting convenience. Central London is less than an hour away. The first class accommodation is situated over two floors. A stunning master bedroom with luxurious king size bed, a pretty single room with vintage students desk and a well-appointed bathroom with walk-in shower. Downstairs there is a kitchen with dining nook and a conservatory/utility with back entrance to where the lockbox is. The kitchen is fitted with a large fridge/freezer, washing machine and coffee/tea station - ideal for a longer self-catered stay. The charming lounge, furnished with beautiful vintage pieces but with the relevant mod cons, has a smart TV, an electric wood burner and a dedicated workspace. Guest access Welwyn Cottage is a self-contained, semi detached property in a central village location with a fully fitted kitchen along with all the comforts of today including Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, multiple USB ports for charging devices in all rooms (apart from bathroom of course!), tea and coffee making facilities, washing machine, hairdryer, iron and iron board and luxury fluffy towels. The master bedroom has a generous king size bed and the small bedroom has a single bed. Both rooms have spacious wardrobes and the mattresses are deep sprung memory mattresses with anti-allergy pillows and duvets covered with comfortable cotton bedlinen. The bathroom is on the same floor and has a walk-in shower. The sitting room has a comfortable sofa and there is a charming occasional chair and footstool as well as a dedicated workspace at the secretary desk. Please note there is no parking at this property but there is parking nearby. There are excellent country walks on the doorstep as well as great local pubs and restaurants within less than 5 minutes walk. Other things to note The Welwyn Cottage does not come with parking but there is parking nearby. The nearest train station is Welwyn North which is about a 20 minute walk away or there are buses that will take you to either nearby Welwyn Garden City or Stevenage with direct links to Cambridge, London, Gatwick and even Brighton.
