Please ask for details. Kid and pet friendly interior. Renting a vehicle is best for this location. This is an entire house separate from any other structures. The view is truly magnificent! This place is great for a family group or one couple.Perfect altitude, just right to get a panoramic view but close enough to the ocean to hear the waves. The view is 180 degrees plus over looking the Caribbean Sea from St. John to inner brass. The house is very open and is all about seeing the view from the inside. The kitchen is new (2018) and has a nice SS tub dishwasher. There is a huge washer dryer. The big common areas do not have AC. All the three bedrooms have mini split inverter AC. The deck is HUGE and stargazing is ethereal. Hope you have a great time! We accept 8 guests but you will want the air mattress, just ask us. The home is on the north side of St Thomas. A residential area with many fine homes. This one is in an enclave few people know about. No through roads and is at the end of the road, so you would be the last house on the road which is super super nice. Many homes on St Thomas have spectacular views but this one has a rare vantage point including both "down Island" and Hull Bay views. You will need a vehicle to get around. There are beaches and restaurants very close by. 4 minutes to Hull Bay hideaway, 9 minutes to Megans Bay, 18 minutes to the St John ferry boat, 15 to/ from airport and town. Little to no interaction from us unless you request it. We are local owners so we have good inside info to share with you. Lots of good stuff to do on the island and this place is a great value. Very nice quiet neighborhood but don't let that make you think you need to be super quiet. The place is in tucked into the trees. Having said that this is mountain /hill jungle territory. Lots of green. The thing you will want to do is rent the most robust vehicle you can. The road is challenging to less skilled drivers. The way to make sure you get the best experience would be to rent an all wheel drive vehicle. HIGHLY suggest a Jeep Wrangler 4x4 or equivalent. Some can drive a minivan some can’t. If you risk getting a car or minivan please don’t ding us on the review if you had a hard time on the road :) Please Fun tidbit: We have workers who drive down the road in a 25 year old Mitsubishi and Toyota sedans regularly :) but the less seasoned cannot handle it at all:) Certain times of year are the "rainy season" not always at the same time but the result is the same. It's wet. Usually not for long. Sometimes for days. The roads have water running along them. We recommend renting a vehicle. We now have a 2003 Lexus GX 470 all wheel drive SUV that we will rent for $75 per day. Please inquire. It will be parked at the villa. Taxiing is difficult and no Uber yet in the VI BUT we have people who do service our compound and they are really cool. Ask us for rental vehicle referrals as well for airport alternatives.
