Riverside cottage

A cosy riverside cottage astride a channel of the River Waveney. Once part of a mill building, the cottage has outside decking over the river, and has views upstream. The space Inside, the open plan downstairs room includes a small kitchen and dining area, as well as a sofa and a wood burner. Upstairs a vaulted airy bedroom with a kingsize bed also has views of the river, with a bathroom attached. An additional room upstairs is set up as a small office space, with a desk, chairs and high speed internet connection. Opposite the house is a popular speciality coffeeshop located in The Silo - an old industrial building, as well as a sauna cabin (the 'Secret Sauna') which is bookable separately. In the summer the river is lovely for swimming or boating. As the cottage front door opens right onto the road, and with the river at the rear as well, we do not consider this to be a suitable place for children. A few older guests have also found the stairs a little steep (although they aren't too bad). Guest access Guests have private access to all of the cottage as well as the decking area pictured. We should note that our larger holiday let adjoins the cottage, so the decking area is not completely private, although there is some screening. There is car parking directly opposite the front door of the house on the side of the road.
