Your stay is pure relaxation in style. Let go of everyday life for a while. Here, everything revolves around comfort, quality and a relaxed atmosphere. Our luxury B&B is located on the green Mheenpark. Our guests experience the stay as an oasis of peace, with just that little bit extra. The spacious bathroom (3 x 3 meters!) is a true wellness space in itself: enjoy a warm whirlpool for two or an invigorating rain shower. In Huize Hertog there is no gas and you are at home, with just that little bit more. The space Our B&B is small and flexible. Also see the bedroom layout below. The bathroom... that's where we often get the most reactions. A space of no less than 3 by 3 meters, decorated as a private wellness area. Enjoy the whirlpool for two together, relax under the spacious rain shower and freshen up quietly at the double sink. Everything is clean, light, and feels like a small spa. There is a kitchen with the basic amenities so you can prepare a simple (oven) meal yourself and make a delicious cup of coffee or tea. Would you like to eat out? Then you can reach the cozy city center of Apeldoorn in less than ten minutes by bike (which you can borrow from us). Available: Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Coffee, Microwave, Oven The bedroom downstairs (1) is a modern bedstee (160 x 200) that brings together style and a sense of calm. Watching TV from your bed? You can. In addition to the double sofa bed (140 x 200), the living room has a luxury 55-inch TV with TV channels, Netflix and you can log into your own Spotify account, among other things. Our other ad is with: The 2nd bedroom is located on the 1st floor with 2 queen size beds. Please note: this is 1 large open space. Our B&B is completely gas-free and is heated with a solar water heater. The energy comes from our own solar panels. This is how we combine luxury with respect for nature — which is so pleasant on the Veluwe. Guest access You have your own entrance, so you can be completely on your own. No shared entrance, no crowds. Whether you come to recharge, read, write or just do nothing at all – at Huize Hertog you get the peace and space you are looking for. You will receive the key from us personally. Parking is possible next to our driveway, at the "back entrance". Would you like the car behind a fence? Then the car can be parked in our driveway after consultation. Just what you want. Other things to note We bought our 1913 home in 2023. Unfortunately, not everything turned out to be as good as we thought. After more than two years of renovating ourselves, we opened our B&B. The outdoor terrace is ready for use, but still contains some areas for improvement. We have bicycles to lend to those who want to use them. They are not the most beautiful bikes, but perfectly usable. Not electric. We are equipped with 4 bicycles, but may have a folding bicycle and cargo bicycle. The municipality of Apeldoorn obliges you to park the bike in the center in a guarded free storage. It's safe. We are Geocachers. We have a lot of fun with this. Partly for this reason, we have placed one ourselves. We also sometimes call it...... treasure hunting for adults. Our treasure is a kind of escape room, but without being locked up.
