Your stay is pure relaxation in style. Let go of everyday life for a while. Here, everything revolves around comfort, quality and a relaxed atmosphere. Our luxury B&B is located on the green Mheenpark. Our guests experience the stay as an oasis of peace, with just that little bit extra. The spacious bathroom (3 x 3 meters!) is a true wellness space in itself: enjoy a warm whirlpool for two or an invigorating rain shower. In Huize Hertog there is no gas and you are at home, with just that little bit more. The space Our B&B is small-scale and flexible. See also the bedroom layout below. The bathroom… that's where we often get the most feedback. A room measuring no less than 3 by 3 metres, designed as a private wellness area. Enjoy the whirlpool for two together, relax under the spacious rain shower and freshen up at your leisure at the double washbasin. Everything is clean, bright, and feels like a small spa. There is a kitchen with basic facilities so that you can prepare a meal yourself and make a delicious cup of coffee or tea. Would you like to eat out? Then you can cycle (you can borrow a bike from us) to the lively centre of Apeldoorn in less than ten minutes. Included: Dishwasher, Fridge, Coffee, Microwave, Oven, Hob (hob on request) The downstairs bedroom (1) is a modern box bed (160 x 200) that combines style with a sense of tranquillity. Want to watch TV from your bed? You can. In addition to the double sofa bed (140 x 200), the living room has a luxurious 55-inch TV with TV channels and Netflix, and you can log in to your own Spotify account, among other things. Our other listing includes: The 2nd bedroom is located on the 1st floor and has 2 queen-size beds and 2 separate single beds. Please note: This is 1 large open space. At Huize Hertog, you will not only stay comfortably, but also consciously. Our B&B is completely gas-free and is heated with a solar water heater. The energy comes from our own solar panels or battery. This is how we combine luxury with respect for nature — which is particularly fitting in the Veluwe. Guest access You have your own entrance, so you can be completely on your own. No shared entrance, no crowds. Whether you come to recharge, read, write or just do nothing at all – at Huize Hertog you get the peace and space you are looking for. You will receive the key from us personally. Parking is possible next to our driveway, at the "back entrance". Would you like the car behind a fence? Then the car can be parked in our driveway after consultation. Just what you want. Other things to note We bought our house, which dates from 1913, in 2023. Unfortunately, not everything turned out to be as good as we thought. After more than two years of renovating ourselves, we opened our B&B. The outdoor terrace is ready for use, but there are still some areas for improvement. We have bicycles available to borrow for those who wish to use them. They are not the nicest bikes, but they are perfectly usable. They are not electric. We have 5 bicycles, but we also have a folding bike and a cargo bike if needed. The municipality of Apeldoorn requires you to park your bike in the city centre in a guarded, free bike storage facility. It's safer that way. We are Geocachers. We have a lot of fun doing this. That is partly why we have placed one ourselves. We sometimes call it...... treasure hunting for adults. Our treasure is a kind of escape room, but without being locked in.
