WEEKEND SPECIAL Check in Friday from 4pm and stay until 5pm on Sunday. Bonus extra hours over our normal checkout time of 10am. Stay on Sunday night too and you'll pay less than half the normal rate. Just check out the cost for a 2 or 3 night stay! Due to the way Airbnb now works, you'll be shown the average rate per night! The space Landcroft Barn is the perfect place for you to escape and unwind. With the stunning views, comfortable accommodation and the array of activities to choose from, you’ll never want to leave. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or an adventure filled trip our accommodation is the perfect place to stay. Enjoy the peace and Tranquillity of this Rural Retreat, with views over Ecton Hill and the local countryside Landcroft Barn is perfect for couples, small families, cyclists and walkers alike. Our pretty barn has been converted beautifully while still retaining its original character. ▶ MINIMUM STAYS: SUMMER: July, August Check in and out Fridays only. 7 night stay WINTER: Check in and out Mon and Fridays only. 4 night stay midweek and 3 night stay weekends (except for special offers) On the ground floor The barn features a comfortable living area, a fully fitted modern kitchen , a spacious dining room as well as a bathroom. ▶ The barn offers a handy entrance porch. For those of you who love outdoor activities you’ll appreciate the handy boot room – a perfect space to kick off those muddy boots and stores coats/bikes after a day of fun! ▶ The lounge is the perfect place to retire to after a day hiking the hills, with plenty of comfortable seating, Smart TV and a cosy wood burner, which is ideal for the chillier months. ▶ The fully–equipped kitchen includes all the modern amenities you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The welcoming kitchen has everything you need to rustle up a meal during your stay. ▶ The kitchen leads to the dining area with big double doors which can be opened, providing a delightful spot to sit and relax and take in the views of the wooded garden and surrounding countryside. ▶ The ground floor bathroom, which was refitted in July 2025, has a large walk-in shower which is ideal for the less nimble. Upstairs Head upstairs where there are two comfortable bedrooms, both with smart TVs, along with a convenient WC. ▶ Bedroom 1 has Superking bed that can be configured into twin single beds which are 2’9″. ▶ Bedroom 2 has a Kingsize bed. Our Garden Step outside into the truly stunning walled garden that offers the perfect balance of tranquillity and natural beauty! Our unique tree lined garden is a thriving habitat for wildlife and the soothing sounds of nature all around. The Local Area We are located just a 2 minute stroll away from the local village pub that boasts it’s own micro brewery where you’ll be warmly welcomed and invited to sample one of the local brews along with a delicious meal cooked using the finest locally sourced produce. Come and experience all this and more in this idyllic holiday cottage. There is a public footpath that passes through the large garden, and for cyclists the nearby Manifold trail is within 2 miles offering excellent off-road cycling. Take a picnic to the famous Dovedale stepping stones within 8 miles. The busy market towns of Leek (8 miles) and Ashbourne (12 miles) offer an array of eateries and independent shops to explore, and Buxton with its famous opera house and stunning Georgian architecture. Pretty Bakewell and Matlock are within 12 miles. Alton Towers Theme Park is just 12 miles away. Guest access You have access to the whole house and our extensive garden. Other things to note Things to know before you book We're delighted that you're considering staying with us! To ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible, please note the following: ▶ MINIMUM STAYS: WINTER: Check-in and out Mon and Fridays only. 4 night stay midweek and 3 night stay weekends (except for special offer weekends). SUMMER: Check in and out Fridays only. 7 night minimum stay from July to Mid-September. ▶ Little ones: The property is not child-proofed and is not suitable for under 5's due to open fires, stone floors, and steep stairs. There is no stair gate ▶ Four-legged friends: Sorry we do NOT accept dogs at Landcroft. No other types of pets are allowed including cats, birds, rabbits etc. ▶ Garden: There is an closed large garden - the boundary wall varies in height being approx. 3ft at its lowest point. ▶ Access: There is a Public footpath that passes through the bottom of the garden ▶ Parking: There is plenty of off road parking at Landcroft Barn – with enough room for at least 3 cars. ▶ Terms and Conditions : Once you have booked you will be asked to agree to our rental agreement. If you do not agree with our Ts & Cs you can cancel your booking within 24 hours. ▶ Security Deposit: We request a £100 security deposit which will be placed as a "hold" on your credit card. This will be released after your stay once you have returned the keys, checks are completed and no damage reported. [This in in line with Airbnb rules as we are a Select Software-Connected host. https://www.airbnb.co.uk/help/article/140]. ▶ Guest Names: To comply with English Law, namely the Immigration (Hotel Records) Order 1972, we are required to collect the name and nationality of all guests aged 16 and over.
