Old Town Quito Hostel is located right on top the bohemian Guapulo quarter in front of the Protected Forest Lumbisí. We offer private & shared accommodation with scenic views to eco-friendly independent travellers, groups, couples and families. Our house and most of our rooms offer scenic views facing the great green hills. Comfortable, nice, clean and private double bedroom with private bathroom or shared rooms with bathroom, hot water, drinkable water and WiFi. Clean towels are changed once a day. Covers, sheets and cleaning service are done upon request. You'll share the house with other guests, in a eco-friendly, healthy environment, from where you can be familiarized with Quito and it's wonders. The private rooms have a Tv in-room. There's a shared Tv room at the house's lobby and a great terrace with scenic views to green hills where to enjoy a sunny day, read a book or have breakfasts. We offer typical local breakfast, lunch and dinner on demand for a reasonable price. We offer laundry service, tours around the country and transfers to the airport. At the house I live with my little sister, mum and father so we ourselves welcome guests and share time with them making sure all their needs are covered. Though in a calm neighbourhood , you'll be steps away from the Centre of Quito, the place you want to be for food and night-life, coffee shops, all types of restaurants, bookstores, hospitals, pharmacies, churches, travel agencies, souvenir shops, the artisan market, malls, gyms, Spanish and dancing lessons, ATMs and so on. As any other City Centre anywhere, you have to take care walking by yourself at night, but you can always take a taxi for a dollar or two and get back home at night if you went out alone. The neighbourhood is limited by two unit police center and the house is very safe inside, we control who gets in or out. The guest house is only open for people with previous reservation, so you and your belongings will always be safe as there's no people from the street allowed inside. The house is surrounded by transportation options, plenty of buses and taxis passing every 10-15 minutes right in front of the house from 6 am to 10 pm approx. from where you can get almost anywhere in the city. We can call a cab for you that will pick you up at the door or you can get one on the street just a few steps away from the door. For a 2 dollar taxi ride, you can reach the old town in only a few minutes. If you like to walk, we are 500 metres (1640 feet) from the city by foot. Parking spaces are 50 metres from the hostel for free. If you're coming from the airport, you'll get to the city in 45 minutes to one hour on a taxi that should charge you around 25 USD, but we could arrange a private transportation for you. Everything is arrangeable just talk to us. Guest access The common areas at the disposal of the guest are the terrace (gazebo) , the lobby and the kitchen.
