HI-31428-F The space The shepherd’s hut is nestled on our croft and measures 5.5m x 2m. It includes a cozy room with a king-size bed (150x200cm), large under-bed drawers for storage, a comfortable reading chair, a foldable table, and a fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave oven. The en-suite bathroom features a toilet, shower, and heated towel rack. If the weather turns chilly, you can warm up with the log burner, and there’s also an infrared panel next to the bed for added comfort. The large steps leading up to the shepherd’s hut can double as a seat, perfect for enjoying a morning tea while taking in the stunning views of Loch Harport. You can park right next to the shepherd's hut or leave your car on top of the hill in a designated spot (1min walk). We live just a stone's throw away in our tiny house, which is featured on Scotland's Home of the Year 2025. Other things to note You can walk to the best pub The Old Inn, Talisker Distillery, a community owned grocery store and Caora Dhubh cafe all within 10min.
