High Spirits / Country Farmhouse

High Spirits is our personal residence, and we operate as hosts using a typical Bed & Breakfast business model when we have guests staying with us. We are a great choice for families and friends traveling together. We offer 4 seperate rooms for individual privacy, but lots of common areas to share, all at a price comparable to a local hotel. Breakfast and of course COFFEE is provided. (Daily menu depends on our schedule and yours) We are conveniently located to the LYH and Liberty University. The space Two beautiful private bedrooms with double beds are available (see pictures) plus for larger families/groups with a need for additional space a bedroom with 2 single beds and room for a single air mattress if needed is available. The 4th room offered as a sleeping area is a private study which has a sofa that folds down into a double sized futon. These rooms will share 2 full baths but larger groups should be aware that the hot water for showers might run out temporarily if showers are not spaced out... Since all rooms are being offered as one listing, you will not be sharing a bathroom with other guests or house members during your stay with us. Guest access In addition to the guest bedrooms and bathrooms, you will have access to a living room, family room, front porch, back deck, basement workout area (with treadmill, eliptical machine, yoga mats, etc) and some kitchen access (definitely COFFEE, and refrigerator and microwave. Two TV's are available for guest use - a smaller TV in the family room, and a large TV in the basement workout area which can be converted to sitting area if requested. Breakfast menu depends on our schedule and yours but could possibly include eggs and/or sausage raised on the family farm land. We can discuss other kitchen needs during your stay, but we often share meals with our guests or facilitate a meal (an especially popular option during graduation season) so you can relax here and enjoy the outdoor spaces with friends and family. We have a BBQ / Gas Grill available for use. During your stay You will be guests in our home. Interaction will depend a lot on our schedule and yours but unless we are on completely different schedules the layout of the common areas of the home encourages interaction. Monday thru Friday from 8AM-5PM I am usually here working remote so available for any needs you might have. Evenings and weekends will depend on our schedules and plans during the time of your visit. We love to cook and do it well, so joining us for an evening meal is a definite possibility during your stay. If you are a fitness junkie join us for an AM workout to start your day or possible a guided run on the local roads or trails. Sharing our home and lives with others is something we enjoy and has led to several magical moments including a spontaneous visit to a neighbors private cemetery where our guest located the tombstone of her great-great uncle and more recently the opportunity to catch fireflies on a warm May evening with 3 delightful young children. Other things to note Henri & Miz T, our beautiful shelties will welcome you to her home. (and sometimes bark early in the morning)
