Gorgeous Private Home with Pool near Tamarindo
Description
This bright, spacious home boasts a well appointed kitchen/great room, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, den, laundry room and a large private pool in the back yard. It is located in a village about a 5 minute drive from Tamarindo and its beautiful beaches. Well positioned between a number of other beautiful beaches, it is essential that you rent a car in order to fully enjoy this stay. You will be greeted by the host who will be providing you with details about how to enjoy your stay. The space This property will provide an experience unlike any other rental properties in the area. It is newly built and was lovingly designed for comfort and privacy. It is located in a lovely, quiet village where you’ll hear the sounds of birds, roosters and howler monkeys—and yes, the neighborhood dogs. This is a new house, large, airy with vaulted ceilings and plentiful sunlight. It was lovingly designed for privacy and comfort by a well respected Chicago area architect. There is a nearby fruit and vegetable market and a supermarket is also a short drive away. Experience the local food (comida tipica) at the nearby cafes (called sodas). A multitude of restaurants geared toward tourists are a 10 minute drive away, in Tamarindo. The food is fresh, wonderful and can fit most dietary restrictions. Beaches are plentiful and maps/directions will be given to guests. It is essential that you rent a car for the optimal experience— so much so, that I would rather have someone pass on this property than to be disappointed by not having a car to fully enjoy their stay. You are renting a private property which you will have all to yourself with the exception of a twice daily visit by the host/caretaker to care for our chickens and to collect fresh eggs from the backyard chicken coop. The coop is situated well to the rear of the property, but will give you a supply of freshly laid eggs if you wish. If you’re around and want to learn how to put the chickens to bed at dusk, our property manager will be happy to show you how. The kitchen/great room is well equipped with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances for those who want to cook using local food from the nearby markets. Basic cooking supplies will be provided salt, pepper, oil, spices, sugar and of course coffee and powdered creamer. Please note, real cream for coffee is very difficult to find in Costa Rica. If you let us know in advance we can arrange for milk and basic groceries for you upon your arrival. There are two couches and a TV in the living space. The master bedroom has comfy king sized bed with an attached master bath. There is a large sliding glass door allowing access to the pool, just steps away and a large window over looking the pool and back yard with hibiscus and bougainvillea. The second bedroom also has a king sized bed and is minimally smaller than the master bedroom but has a bathroom just a few short steps outside the bedroom. It also has a sliding glass door allowing direct access to the patio and pool. Bedrooms are spaced across the courtyard from each other this giving a marvelous sense of privacy. Both have blackout curtains to allow for a dark bedroom even at the sunniest time of day. The decor is simple with white exterior and interior walls. The cool, clean feel of polished concrete floors will be underfoot. Every room has its own air conditioner. Windows are huge and allow for plentiful sunlight and a beautiful view of the back garden and pool. Please note that since this is a new house, we are in the process of landscaping around the new in-ground pool. The pool is gorgeous. It was designed by an award winning Chicago architect and built by Costa Rica’s best pool builder. It has a dedicated 40 foot swim lane and an 8 x 9 foot tanning shelf. The water depths: Pool 4.5 feet deep. Tanning shelf 1 foot deep. No diving. Beach/pool towels will provided as are 3 boogie boards for a fun day at the nearby beaches. Guest access Access to the entire house with the exception of the owner’s closet. Other things to note To fully enjoy this visit, please be respectful of your neighbors and their culture and customs. The property is also my own home and is occupied when not rented out by the property manager, so mi casa es su casa. The majority of stores and businesses will take US dollars. This is an extremely casual environment and you will most likely find yourself needing no more clothes than a pair of flip flops, shorts, t-shirt and bathing suit. I’ve personally been able to pack for a two week trip in a carryon! The area is famous for its excellent surfing and surf schools. These are easily arranged upon your arrival.
