Description

This is where the Northern Lights dance! The ‘Nursing Station’ is one of few original buildings in town - beautifully renovated with ra Scandinavian flair. Located by the river and the Frobisher Bay on one side - and endless tundra on the other. Great year round hiking- and skiing in winter. Only five minutes walk to the old Hudson Bay post and 10 minute drive to amenities like grocery stores, museum, restaurants, banks etc. Here you are safe and well protected - also when the blizzards roar. The space Spacious and warm entrance. High ceilings in well equipped common areas: kitchen, dining and living room. Guest access The room is one of three in a complete apartment with full kitchen, dining and living room During your stay I live next door and am just a phone-call away. Other things to note WiFi in Nunavut is slow at best - so do the downloads before departing the south and be prepared to wait for loading even the simplest pages. That said, we have the best available WiFi - just for you :)
