Le Vaugrassin Gîte

Located on the edge of the forest and a stone's throw from Lake Trémelin, the Vaugrassin welcomes you for a quiet stay with family or friends. With 4 bedrooms (including a dormitory) and 3 bathrooms, the gîte can accommodate up to 12 people. Ideal base for many walks and hikes, you can also explore the Brocéliande forest and its legends. Calm, serenity and a return to the source will be at the rendezvous! The space Access to the cottage is through a private entrance, leading to a 2000m2 garden, also private, without any vis-à-vis. The garden borders with the enclosure of our donkeys. At your disposal, garden furniture, sunbeds, hammocks, barbecue, outdoor games (shuffles, pétanque, molki, football goals...) The cottage is a 150m2 stone longhouse that can accommodate up to 12 people (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms ) • GROUND FLOOR - a living room with equipped kitchen, living room, large table that can accommodate all guests. - a wood stove - Bedroom 1 with queen size bed and private bathroom. - Separate toilet. - a back kitchen with washing machine and dryer. • 1ST FLOOR - Bedroom 2 with queen size bed and private bathroom. - Bedroom 3 with a queen size bed that can be transformed into 2 single beds. Office space. - Bedroom 4, the dorm, with 6 individual beds including 3 on the mezzanine (we recommend a minimum age of 8 years to access it) - a shower room. - Separate toilet. • AMENITIES -WIFI - Bluetooth speaker - 2 umbrella beds, 2 high chairs, baby bathtub - books and board games for young and old - documentation of the forest of Brocéliande, hiking trails - 2 electric bikes available • FEEDBACK - The beds are made upon your arrival, and each guest has a towel. Kitchen towels are also provided. - Filter coffee maker with a percolator side - No pets allowed. - This place is not intended to host parties. • SURROUNDINGS - The cottage is located on the edge of the forest, it is an ideal starting point for many hikes, as well as for nice accessible walks with young children. The menhir de la Pierre Longue, the Moulin du Cast are for example 10 minutes walk from the cottage. - The cottage is a stone's throw from Lake Trémelin and its amenities (beach, tree climbing, canoeing, kayaking, pedal boat, restaurant). Accessible by bike paths, you can even walk to it through the forest. - Within a radius of 5km, you will have access to natural and preserved sites such as the Vallon de la Chambre au Loup, the ornithological reserve of the Domaine de Careil, the archaeological site of Boutavent. - Le Vaugrassin is 20 minutes from the unmissable forest of Brocéliande, with its legends, its contested walks, its castles (Chateau de Tr Needon, Château de Comper)... - In a wider radius, you can discover the city of Rennes (30min), Saint-Malo (1h), the Gulf of Morbihan (1h20), Mont Saint-Michel (1h20)... Other things to note • The gîte has a single-storey bedroom as well as a single-storey bathroom and toilet. It can therefore be accessible to 2 PRM people (don't hesitate to contact us for more information) • Our house is part of the same old farmhouse as the cottage's farmhouse. Your independence and privacy will be preserved by private access, and by the garden, which has no opposite.
