🌳🍐🏡Come and relax in this unique lodge in a small green Normandy valley far from the human tumult. Our cabin on stilts on the side of meadow will welcome you in high-end comfort with the soft sound of birdsong and under the stars for a relaxing night in a cocooning, intimate and warm setting. You will enjoy the private wood-fired Nordic bath without restriction throughout your entire stay. The space Le Lodge des Deux Chênes is a cabin on stilts built on a small 4-hectare farm (sheep and goat farming and pear production for Domfront PDO perry), close to the owners' house, in complete privacy and with no neighbors overlooking. A garden table and outdoor furniture are at your disposal. Dedicated parking will allow you to park your vehicle safely on the property, about 100 m from the cabin. The accommodation was entirely conceived, built, and decorated by the owners. Very special care was taken to use local, high-quality materials and recycled materials whenever possible. Inspired by the concept of cocooning glamping, we want to offer premium service in an intimate and warm atmosphere. The accommodation is suitable for 1 to 4 people (3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children max). It is composed of a main room in which a quality queen-size bed (160 cm) awaits you, as well as a second bed (130 cm) perched on a mezzanine (a cabin in the cabin!), an equipped kitchen (sink, stove, coffee maker, refrigerator) and a relaxation area consisting of a stove and armchairs. The fully glazed facade, consisting of a patchwork of windows, faces due west and will flood you with light at sunset! The dry toilets installed in a closed and separate room will be ready for your arrival (remember to put your bag in the trash can in the parking lot when you leave). Finally, the bathroom is equipped with a sink and a shower with a view of the valley, totally immersed in nature. The mezzanine is accessible via a "miller's ladder" type staircase, which is forbidden for children under 8 years of age; this bed can accommodate two children or one adult alone. A lovely old stove will allow you to warm up during the slightly cooler nights. For an even more immersive experience, turn off the lights and enjoy the dancing glow of the fire! Bed and bath linens are provided Breakfasts made with local products are available as an option. Book in advance and pay directly on site. Hygiene products: soap and shampoo provided. Only 100% biodegradable hygiene products are accepted. Located 1 hour and 15 minutes from Mont-Saint-Michel, 5 minutes from the medieval city of Domfront-en-Poiraie, 15 minutes from the Andaines forest and 30 minutes from Suisse-Normande. Other things to note Once you are well settled in your cozy little nest you will not want to go out... Treat yourself without moving with our sweet/savory breakfasts composed mainly of local and organic products at the price of €15 per person, or with an aperitif board! (only by prior reservation, to be paid upon arrival). We are at your disposal for any special requests (gift card, fresh champagne, aperitif board, etc.). We are very sensitive to the protection of the environment and nature, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We can also assist you with the first lighting of the stove. For safety reasons for our animals, we do not accept dogs at the cabin. The lodge is built within a small farm, you can go see the animals without problem, but it is forbidden to feed them without our agreement as well as to enter the enclosures (for your safety). No smoking is allowed in the cabin. Check-in is from 5 p.m. and check-out is before 11 a.m. but we are flexible, please don't hesitate to call us if you have any questions.
