The Ness

The Ness House Hotel is a Georgian property, built in 1810, on the outskirts of Shaldon village overlooking the Teign Estuary and only a stone’s throw from the beach. 20 yards away the Smugglers Tunnel can be found, leading you down to the secluded Ness Beach, sheltered by the Ness Cliff. There is a ferry which runs between Teignmouth and Shaldon and fishing at the mouth of the estuary is popular year round.
