The train station in Derby is 12 miles away and takes around 25 mins in a taxi. We have 2 electric bikes which you can hire (if we are not using them!) Please ask me if you are interested. Other things to note There are a few steps down to the shepherd's hut area and some steps up into the hut, so it is not suitable for people with mobility issues. The Shepherds Hut is in a fenced off private area on our small holding, where we have cattle, sheep and horses nearby. We also have one friendly dog of our own. No other dogs are allowed on the premises, due to our dog and the livestock nearby.
