Welcome to our YABIN! **Early check in** What do you call a cabin that is shaped like a yurt? A Yabin! Relax and unwind while exploring the unmatched Columbia River Gorge. Our location just off the beaten path, on the outskirts of Lyle WA, ensures tranquility and stunning sky views without the light pollution of nearby towns. Surrounded by all the natural beauty, wineries, fruit farms, trails, hot springs, river sports, mountain sports and more that the area is famous for. Stunning Mt Adam’s The space What a stunner! ***Noon check in and check out*** *No pet fees* Located just 9 miles off Hwy 14,. 20 miles from Hood River. 80 miles from Portland in the scenic Columbia River Gorge. Our unique cabin has a panoramic deck overlooking Mt Adams and surrounding countryside a short drive from White Salmon, WA. The circular design feels cozy yet spacious. This is truly an all season destination. The private bedroom on the main floor has a king sized bed with gel +memory foam mattress and is framed with a beautiful mural. The upper loft has a gel + memory foam king sized bed, chaises (possible sleeping for small children) and a work station. The gorgeous round skylight creates a lovely star view. The living room is open into the dining and kitchen areas which encompass half of the yabin space, with no window coverings to obscure the majestic panoramic view. The telescope gives you a Birds Eye view of Mt Adams and any wildlife you wish to see up close and of course the stars! The back door opens onto the wrap around deck. The comfy sectional opens to a queen bed. The spacious charmingly decorated bathroom has a walk in shower and luxurious claw foot tub complete with bath salts for a tranquil reprieve after a day on the slopes, kite surfing, mountain climbing, hiking, biking or wine tasting at the abundance of award winning wineries the area has to offer. Since there is only one bathroom it may be necessary to plan for it's use if you have a large group. Calling all cooks!!! The well stocked kitchen boasts a wood stove cooker (that also heats the cabin) along with a conventional stove. The ample counter space and open shelving are sure to make cooking here a pure delight. All the amenities are provided to make a small meal or feast. The large 8 acre property is located just 10 miles outside Lyle WA, in Klickitat heights. This rural location ensures a stunning view of the night sky unhindered by light pollution. Yet we are so close to all the area has to offer. The property has an established garden with fruit and nut trees, herb garden and seasonal veggies. It also features a sweet lookout up-deck and outdoor dining area underneath. Starlink satellite WiFi is incredibly fast in case you have to work remotely during your stay or have multiple devices streaming. There is no TV, so be sure to bring your tablets. There are several spots around the yabin and property to curl up with a good book, and we offer a small library for you to enjoy. Please feel free to leave books for others to enjoy. We also have guide books for use during your stay and games to play. Our Yabin is full of character and charm and definitely not straight out of the Rejuvenation catalog - there are plenty of those properties to chose from! The furnishings are top of the line comfortable and the vibe is warm and welcoming and perfect for a private, tranquil stay. Pendleton accents throughout. We are family friendly and can provide a pack and play, kids books, toys and games. Please be aware that the yabin is in no way child proofed. Your well behaved dogs are welcome. We provide dog towels, bowls and lint roller. **No pets on the furniture, please***. We provide a large dog bed for their use, or bring your own. Please do not leave dogs loose in the cabin when you are away. Limit 2 dogs. Please clean up after them (scooper provided). Guest access You have access to the entire property during your stay Other things to note The yabin is spacious and comfortably sleeps 6, however planning may be needed to navigate the one bathroom/one toilet situation. We love dogs, and have a limit of 2. Please don't leave your pets loose in the yabin while you are out.
