For the wind junky, it's a short walk to the Lyle Sandbar and a 5-minute drive to world famous windsurfing/foiling spot Doug's beach. Many great hikes very close by and only 15 minutes to Hood River. The cottage has a large deck that has a view of the river with a patio table for 6. Please note: There are trains that roll by about once an hour. They take about 45-60 seconds and then they are gone. They don't toot the horn and just roll by. Guest access There is a lock box and guests will be provided a code.
