Come out and stay a few nights on our working ranch. Enjoy the views of the rolling hills on the spacious back porch or snuggle up on the comfy couch and enjoy a book while escaping the city life. We’re 35 minutes from downtown and the airport. Close enough to all Austin has to offer but far enough away to experience the country life. The space There is a queen size bed in the single room. We have a couch in the living room that can sleep one child and we have a queen size air mattress available to place in the living room as well to help accommodate two additional people. The kitchen is a full kitchen with electric stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans and other utensils. On the back porch there is a large sitting area and a outdoor table with chairs that seats 6. There is also a propane BBQ pit for your use. Guest access You have free access to every area other than the fenced in backyard of the main house. We do offer a free ranch tour to our guest when we are here. You can learn about our ranch journey and do a variety of things from feeding cows, donkeys or sheep to holding a lamb, petting a chicken or more. Other things to note We use Starlink for our internet. They are a satellite internet service provider and in our experience since using them has been amazing compared to other providers we’ve tried. With that said one thing we have noticed is speeds can vary dramatically. I’ve seen speeds between 4-197 mbps. I do work from home and have video conferences on a regular basis with no issues. Most times I’ve checked speeds during the day we are in the 40 mbps range. This location is out in the country so there is the possibility to see spiders, scorpions and other bugs. We do have a exterminator come out quarterly to spray the cabin but this does not guarantee zero bugs in or around the cabin. We do have guardian dogs on the property and they pretty much have free range of everything. They are extremely people friendly but they are large dogs (80+lbs) who love attention and one really loves to lean on you for her loving. We also have a cat that loves to visit with folks on the back porch but she is super quiet and sneaky so she might give you a bit of a surprise if you don’t see her coming to greet you.
