Blue cottage in Končiny

The Blue Cottage is perfect for families with children, nature lovers, hiking, cycling and bird song. There are plenty of toys, games and books for the kids, so they can have fun even when it's raining outside. In the vicinity you will find places connected with the history of Slovakia: – Mound and Museum of General M. R. Štefánik, – Museum of the architect Dušan Jurkovič, – Mysterious castle in the Carpathians – Dobrovodský hrad, – Čachtice Castle of Elizabeth Báthory ...and many more. Treat yourself to a rest where the birds and crickets are the loudest. The space On the first floor, there is a spacious kitchen, fully equipped for cooking and baking. All important appliances are available – kettle, toaster, stove, hood, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and blender. There is enough tableware for all guests. In the living area of the kitchen, you can connect your laptop to a larger screen. Two extra guests can sleep on the sofa bed (there are five standard beds in the other rooms, one of which is suitable for a child under 10 years old). In the center of the room there is a fireplace, which is the heart of the house. On this floor there is also a bedroom for parents with a smaller double bed, a fireplace, a work area and a large closet. The toilet is separate, in the bathroom you will find a bathtub, washing machine and hair dryer. On the second floor there is an attic children's room full of toys for children from 1 to 100 years old – there are books, kits and board games. Even in rainy weather, children will have fun here. There is also a piano for those who want to play during their holiday. Two adults can sleep comfortably on an easily foldable bed, a smaller child (up to 10 years) in a canopy bed. If you would like to use the outdoor shower for summer refreshment or play ping-pong, please let us know in advance – we will be happy to prepare everything. In the large garden of 1000 m² you will find a small wooden house for children with toys and a slide, a large fireplace and a pergola by the garden house where you can sit in the pleasant shade. On the contrary, you can enjoy the sun all day on the porch of the house. Guest access The cottage is available to you in its entirety, as well as the large garden. Upon agreement, we will be happy to make the cellar available to you, where you will find an outdoor shower and a ping-pong table. You will not need a garden shed with tools – wood for the fireplace or fire is freely available in the woodshed at the end of the garden. We have only one request: please let the fruit on the trees and bushes ripen. Other things to note The navigation will not find the way through the forest because it is not recorded in the maps – we will send you a detailed description of the route. You will find the keys in the mailbox, to which you will receive an access code from us. You can conveniently park your car behind the gate on the property.
