Cider Barn is a beautifully converted medieval stone & thatched barn nestled in an old cider orchard set in 7 acres of grounds in the stunning South Devon countryside. With the added luxury of a heated indoor swimming pool for ultimate relaxation and supremely comfortable accommodation, this is the perfect place to enjoy your holiday. The space The Barn offers a stunning mix of contemporary style and country antique furnishings. A handmade shaker kitchen conceals every appliance necessary to make your life easy, while comfy sofas, Smart televisions and limestone bathrooms pamper to your need for luxury. Highlights... * The indoor heated pool is housed in an oak framed glass fronted barn with bifold doors leading out to raised decking with fantastic views over the gardens and orchard looking down the valley. * Welcome Hamper – locally baked scones with clotted cream & jam (only for stays of 5 days or more), organic milk, Nespresso coffee pods, Burts crisps, tea, sugar, Emma’s homemade granola and eggs from local chickens. * Free super fast Broadband connection from Starlink. * Beach towels, buckets & spades, crabbing lines and boogie boards are provided as well as wellies in various sizes. Bathrobes provided for adults and children. * Eat alfresco in the cedarwood Crown Pavilion Gazebo with plump seating and cushions. Unzip all or some of the sides for fantastic views of the orchard and valley beyond. * Weber gas BBQ and picnic tables are provided in the Children's Play Area and around the gardens. * Children's play area features swings, a climbing wall and a slide. Located just off the main garden, whilst partially hidden behind the hedge through a wooden gate. The swimming pool is shared with our other 2 bed cottage. It really is a taste of luxury with seashell travertine tiled surround, the 10m x 4m pool has one depth of 1.2m and large steps for toddlers to sit and play – and the pool is heated to 30 degrees all year round. It is normally open access between 8am and 7pm. If requested, we can put a rota system in place so each cottage alternates between mornings and afternoons so you can have guaranteed privacy in the pool. Top Barn can be booked together with Cider Barn to sleep up to 8 guests in total. The twin beds can be configured as a king size, please request on booking. The 5th bed can be found in the 2nd bedroom and is a small foam chair-bed so only suitable for a child. There is an extra charge for a 5th person. If the travel cot is required, please note we don't provide bedding for this.
