In winter, the ski slope passes right by the house; in summer, hiking trails begin at your doorstep. The apartment is simple, cosy, and thoughtfully designed. Exposed wood, warm tones, and plenty of light create a calm, alpine atmosphere. The living room invites you to unwind – with a 65" smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, and a large dining table. The two bedrooms are perfect for sleeping in – quiet, comfortable, and furnished with attention to detail. The kitchen is fully equipped – ideal for quick meals or long, relaxed dinners. Outside, the terrace offers open views – sun, mountains, silence. Guest access The apartment with the terrasse are completely at your exclusive disposal. Other things to note We provide bed linen and towels. Besides, a coffee and tea set awaits you. As this is a traditional wooden house, noise from neighbors may be audible. Please also note that the showers are supplied by a hot-water boiler which, due to local regulations, is heated exclusively during the night. On rare occasions, during periods of very high usage, the boiler may temporarily run out of hot water and will only reheat overnight. If two people would like separate beds, please inform us in advance so that we can prepare the beds accordingly. The apartment is located on the Axalp mountain above Brienz. On a 2D map the distance may look short, but the drive up takes about 30 minutes on a regularly used, fully paved mountain road. Please note that access to the apartment is restricted in winter when there is snow (definitely December to March, and sometimes November and April as well). During this period, you can drive to “Axalp, Sportsbahnen” and from there it is a 200m walk across the snow to the apartment. The whirlpool can be reserved for exclusive use for 1.5 hours per booked day (between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.). A link will be sent before arrival for the reservation.
