Other things to note Penryn is an ancient market town with a rich maritime history, evident in its historic quayside and well-preserved Georgian, Jacobean, and Tudor buildings. The town has a thriving arts and crafts community, with numerous independent galleries, studios, eateries, library and museum. Having close proximity to Falmouth makes it an ideal base for exploring the larger town and its attractions. My home is 5 minutes drive to the Penryn campus of Exeter University which is set in 100 acres of countryside and boasts beautiful views over the Fal estuary
