Description
A romantic hideaway for couples in the heart of the Eryri, Snowdonia, National Park. Nestled at the foot of the Carneddau mountains, with views out across a mountainside of ancient woodland, Coed Llydan offers a luxurious base to relax in its wood-fired hot tub, enjoy the starry skies from its patio or relax on the sofa in the glow of the woodburning stove. Simply step outside your private garden to explore the forests, lakes and mountains on the doorstep with your partner and furry friend. Other things to note Check in & check out days Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Other days may be available occasionally or by prior arrangement. Connectivity Coed Llydan has super fast broadband - suitable for streaming, working, etc. Depending on your network, there is poor or no mobile phone signal at the property. Although if you can enable WiFi calling on your mobile phone, you will be able to make calls as normal. Access Coed Llydan is accessed via a single track, tarmac road with regular passing places. Hot tub The hot tub is a traditional wood fired hot tub. To heat it usually takes between 2-3 hours. As the fire needs tending during this time, we're sorry but it cannot be pre-heated for your arrival. Wood fired hot tubs are lovely things and heating them is a mindful and Hygge task, but does need a bit of patience. Don't worry if you've never used one before, we provide guidance and tips before your stay begins. Dog friendly details Dogs are welcome at Coed Llydan (max. 2). For the comfort of all guests, please no dogs on beds. Dogs are welcome on the sofa, when using the sofa cover provided. Dogs should not be left unaccompanied at the property or in its grounds during your stay. There is sometimes livestock in neighbouring fields. Please take care to ensure your dog does not disturb them. The garden is private and enclosed - our own active and curious collie enjoyed testing it for you, while we renovated the barn. If your dog is a determined escape artist, jumper or likely to chase livestock however, we also provide two secure tie ups for dogs (by the hot tub and patio areas) and a 5m long line for you to use - so you have peace of mind while you and your dog relax outside. Coed Llydan is ideal for reactive or special needs dogs, due to its quiet location and private garden. If your dog is nervous of people, please let us know what behaviours you require from us if we come to welcome you or if you'd prefer we do not visit during your stay.
