Bedrooms include a downstairs king with shower room and an upstairs super-king/twin with ensuite bath and breathtaking views. A step leads up to the stunning vaulted living room with exposed beams, stonework, and the original pig feeding trough. Relax by the log burner, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, or enjoy board games and books in the cosy nook. Upstairs, through a low doorway, you’ll find the second bedroom which can be set as twin beds or a super-king. There’s a charming low beam over the bed, adding character, and from here you’ll wake to spectacular valley views. The room also includes storage and an ensuite bathroom with a bath - perfect for soaking after a day of walking or exploring. This is a true countryside retreat: ideal for families, couples, walkers, and anyone looking to relax in a farm stay close to Alton Towers and the Peak District. Guest access Guests have full, private use of the cottage and will check in and out using a lockbox on the property - it’s completely self-contained with its own road access, so you can come and go as you please. As the cottage is located on our family’s working farm, we kindly ask that you drive carefully and always close the gate behind you. This helps keep our three farm dogs (and livestock) safe. Other things to note Dogs are considered by request only: Please check before booking. As this is a working farm, you may see (and hear!) farm dogs and animals during your stay. Visiting dogs must stay indoors or on a lead outdoors. Guests will need to close the gate when entering/leaving. The upstairs bedroom has a low doorway and a low beam over the bed - please mind your head!
