Relax with family or friends in this quiet chalet and enjoy Lake Selby by kayak or paddleboard. Discover the Estrie wine route, the many microbreweries, bike tours and hiking, then end the day around an outdoor fire. If you like to cook, this chalet is for you: it is very well equipped! The space This chalet offers a warm decor. Light is abundant at all hours of the day. The chalet has three bedrooms, two upstairs (one with a queen-size bed and one with two double beds) and one in the basement (queen-size bed), as well as two full bathrooms (one with a shower and heated floor and the other with a bathtub). Each floor measures 400 square feet. Bedding and towels are provided. The basement is well appointed, its ceramic floors are heated and it is bright for our guests to have a good time by the wood burning stove. We love music, reading, and board games. So you'll find a record player, a CD player, a Bluetooth speaker, a few cookbooks, comics, novels, and a few board games... in short, there's plenty to take care of if there are rainy days during your stay! We also love nature and have set up our cottage with its protection in mind: EV charging station, many refurbished furniture and decorative elements, heat pump dryer, efficient heat pump, reusable napkins, recycling bins, return items and compost, rainwater reclaimer barrel. You'll be surrounded by trees, flowers, and birds. You can lounge in the hammock or have an aperitif on the front gallery which is covered and has a view of the lake. We provide you with two single kayaks and two paddleboards. In winter, for skiing, Mount Sutton is 21 km from the chalet, Bromont 36 km and Jay Peak 52 km. For cross-country skiing, it is possible to do it at Plein air Sutton, Frelighsburg and the Cowansville golf club. We provide snowshoes for adults and children. It is possible to walk around the lake: a beautiful 5.7 km walk, part of which is in a pretty wooded area, no matter the season, except during the hunting season. If you like to cook, you'll find what you need to make good puffs: Napoleon BBQ, slow cooker, wok, food processor, blender, cake and muffin mussels, cookie plates, coffee filters,coffee, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices and several other essentials. Plus making life easier for parents of young children, we put at your disposal, on request, a Graco baby park, a folding high chair (camping type), a gate for the stairs. The village of Dunham is 6.6 km from the cottage; you will find a convenience store that holds the essentials, a bakery, a cafe/delicatessen, a microbrewery, a few restaurants, fruit and vegetable kiosks and a pharmacy. The town of Cowansville is 12 km from the chalet; you will find grocery stores, bakery, restaurants, various shops and a hospital. The charming village of Frelighsburg is 5.6 km away and there is a grocery store. The area is rich in cultural, gastronomic - including wine - and sports activities. There are six vineyards in Dunham, the first in Quebec! Guest access Entire home, except for a storage space that is locked.
