The Secret Garden

Our accommodation includes a chalet for 4 people (1 king-size bed & 2 single beds), a family tipi for up to 6 people, a poolhouse, a big garden, a heated private swimming pool, and a relaxing jacuzzi. Our chalet is ideally located close to Waterloo station, the Lion’s Mound, shopping streets, bars, and restaurants. In winter, the pool house is enclosed with screens and heated, as is the family tipi. It’s the perfect place for couples, families and groups of friends, both in summer and winter! The space 🛏️ Super comfortable and flexible sleeping space: The bedroom, equipped with both heating and air conditioning, features a large king-size bed that is extremely comfortable—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. For families or small groups, up to three additional single beds can be added upon request, without compromising space or comfort. There is also the option to set up a comfortable, heated family tipi tent (glamping) for up to 5 people in the large garden in front of the chalet, under our apple, pear, cherry, and plum trees—allowing larger groups to stay together in our little piece of paradise. 🌿 Fully private 4,000 m² garden with pool and jacuzzi – just steps from the Lion of Waterloo and the battlefield: This fully equipped Airbnb overlooks a completely private 4,000 m² garden featuring a pool house (with 3 large refrigerators, a bar with speakers and Bluetooth sound system, a kitchen, a lounge area, a changing room, a toilet, and a terrace with seating for 20 people), a heated swimming pool (29°C, from March to September), and a jacuzzi for 5 people (38°C, available all year round)—all exclusively for you. A true green haven with no overlooking neighbors, surrounded by cornfields and located just minutes from the center of Waterloo, with easy access to restaurants, bars, shops, and the famous Waterloo battlefield, dominated by the iconic Lion’s Mound—a must-see for history lovers. Brussels is also easily accessible by train (Waterloo and Braine-l’Alleud stations are within walking distance) or by car (only a 20-minute drive). 😊 A place suitable for everyone: couples, families, and groups of friends: This place is perfect for couples and families looking for peace and relaxation, as well as for hosting your events and celebrations (birthdays, family gatherings, weddings, team buildings, etc.). Please note that night-time noise is not permitted, and any event must be approved in advance by the owners. Guest access Guests have exclusive and fully private access to the entire property during their stay. This includes: - the chalet - the fully equipped pool house - the 4,000 m² garden - the heated swimming pool (open from April to September) - the jacuzzi (available year-round) - the family tipi No spaces are shared with other people during your stay. Only the persons included in the reservation are allowed to access the property. Outside visitors are not permitted without prior approval. Any additional person, including visitors who are not staying overnight, must be approved in advance by the owners and will automatically incur an additional fee. Other things to note •🔇 Important – Quiet Hours To ensure a peaceful stay for everyone and respect our surroundings, quiet hours start at 10:00 PM. After this time, we kindly ask guests to keep noise to a minimum, especially outdoors (no loud music or disturbances). Please note that outdoor sound systems and subwoofers are not allowed at any time. Music can be enjoyed indoors in the pool house, as long as it remains respectful of the environment. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation 🙏. • Security Deposit & City Tax A security deposit of €200 is required upon check-in for all groups (from 2 people). This deposit will be refunded at check-out once everything has been checked and no damage has been found. Since January 1st, 2026, the municipality of Waterloo charges a city tax of €2 per night per guest. This amount must be paid at check-in. • Breakfast Service Would you like a delicious continental breakfast the next morning? You can! Simply fill in the order form available in your room and drop it in the designated mailbox at the gate before 10:00 PM. We’ll make sure you start your day right (the eggs from our chicken coop are delicious 😋!). • Quad Rental A powerful quad is available in the garden for rent—perfect if you’re looking for some fun on four wheels! • Bouncy Castle Rental A giant bouncy castle is available for rent, ideal if you are organizing an event with children. It features two slides that go directly into the swimming pool!
