The space We recently purchased this house and are improving it step by step, so we welcome your feedback to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Discount’s don’t apply to holiday weekends such as Thanksgiving, MLK day etc. We are thrilled to welcome you to this gorgeous mountain home! Sleeping arrangements: King bed, Queen bed, Full bed, and Twin bunk beds – perfect for families or groups. We also have a spare twin folding mattress and a queen bed inside the bean bag that adds more sleeping space for your group. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, a fancy coffee maker, mugs, cutlery, and bowls. I have some basic spices and condiments available, and few pantry staples that you are welcome to use. We have a fancy Phillips coffee maker that makes lattes, espressos and coffees! Let us know how you like it. It grinds fresh coffee and makes delicious brews at the press of a button. I also have a regular coffee machine and a pour over. It uses milk to make the froth but I also have some cans of evaporated milk that can be substituted in its place (mix 1:1 with water to make ‘milk’) Entertainment (updated Oct 2025): Smart 85” TV with Sony soundbar (has Amazon Prime + Netflix), Google Mini for music, and multiple chargers for your devices (usb C, lightning port, I watch charger , micro usb etc) Firepit with firewood available for your use. Please don’t use the fireplace indoors, only the firepit outside. Pls ask for the guide and acknowledge the rules before starting a fire. Dining: Indoor table seats 6, plus a large outdoor table for meals with a view. A Hot tub has been installed in the deck, please let us know if you’d like to use it. We will share the rules with you that you must acknowledge before you use it. Games & Activities: Variety of books and games for all ages, plus a dartboard in the living room. There are a few games for a mix of age groups. I have also kept some craft things for kids like rubber band looms, plastic lace, and stationary/books + sketchbooks and some art supplies. I also have a large 27" monitor with a HDMI cable (HDMI to HDMI, I can also source a HDMI to USB C if thats what you need). The Internet is fast (300mbps) so you can work from home. This is a good spot for any digital nomads who want a slice of the mountains! In the loft area, there is seating for additional members so your party can be spread out. Lots of books, games, puzzles and crafts available for various age groups. Harry Potter, Famous Five, Series of Unfortunate Events, Guide books, fiction and non fiction. Tons of games - Scattegories, Catan, Ticket To Ride, Taco Cat Goat, Throw Burrito, among others. The bedrooms are equipped with linens, and towels. We also have a laundry area with extra linens. (Please be mindful of the water use as we rely on a well and Vermont is going through a drought) Bedrooms & Comfort: 4 bedrooms – King, Queen, Full, and Twin bunk beds. Fans, humidifiers, and air purifiers available. Hair dryers provided in all upstairs bathrooms. I also have nail cutters, sewing kits, eyeglass cleaners, charging cables and other essentials that may pop up during the travel. A new hot tub has been installed this winter for your enjoyment! Please review the provided guide (We will send one upon booking), and check with us (before booking) to ensure it is in proper working order before use, as we are still fine-tuning its operation. Well-stocked and ready for short or long getaways – everything you need to relax, play, and enjoy your stay! We are very close to multiple ski resorts and mountains for a year round getaway. We have a boot brush, a boot dryer, as well as a Ski rack available for your Ski weekend getaway! Tags - ski weekend, family reunion, office retreat, friendly gatherings, holidays, anniversary getaway, mountain getaway, Dartmouth college, Hartford, Woodstock, University of Vermont Aquatic Center. Guest access You will have access to the entire house. The garage is accessible and available for use. It can fit 1 car comfortably, and possibly 2 if the car size is small. You will have access to the deck, the garage, the fire pit, the dining patio and the rest of the interior of the house. Kindly ensure doors are fully closed to avoid any critters making their way inside. We dont live nearby, and will be available on the phone if you need some thing, or have any questions. If there is a group larger than 7-8 members, we understand it can get difficult to manage and keep things together in a large place. But in order to protect ourselves, we will add a surcharge to any guest after 7 to account for extra cleaning. And a security deposit will be placed for any groups larger than 8, to account for any damaged that arise from this. This deposit will be returned upon confirmation from the cleaner that the house is in good working condition with minimal cleaning. We want you to meet your friends and family and make memories here, but we also want to protect our home due to unpleasant experiences. Other things to note Important: Our home uses a septic system, like most in Vermont, which is sensitive to what is flushed or poured down drains. Toilet: Only flush liquids and human waste. Avoid flushing paper products such as paper towels, tampons, pads, or wipes, as they can clog the system and cause backups in bathrooms and kitchen. Sinks: Please do not put organic matter (food scraps, grease, etc.) down the sink. Use the provided sink strainer and dispose of waste in the trash to keep the system functioning properly. Outdoor Beauty The outdoor spaces are what made us fall in love with this home. Please enjoy them respectfully and help us keep the property as serene as we found it. Please don't wear any outdoor footwear in the house. We have some indoor footwear provided for your use. Watch the step outside the laundry room, it is a bit wobbly and deep, it is in progress to get fixed Please put all game pieces back inside the boxes ( if possible, stick to removing 1 to 2 games at a time) Lock the doors to the deck, dining, and laundry room before checkout. It's tricky to activate the lock, pull the lever upward or backward. Conserve Energy, Water / other valuable resources. Enjoy responsibly. We do rely on a well, and Vermont had an intense drought. Water has and can run out at any time. Please note any reduction in water flow, and be mindful of your usage (such as limiting showers times, running full loads of Wash or dishes) and inform us if you hear any running water or leaks. The house has an independent septic system that can be sensitive to any foreign articles. Only flush human waste, and limited toilet paper. All the bathrooms have hand sprays so you can get a cleaner clean before patting yourself dry. In the kitchen, use the provided strainer to avoid food waste going into the septic system. flushing or draining things like flushable wipes, sanitary napkins and large particles of food can back up the system and cause plumbing issues. There is a hot tub that is installed. Kindly follow the rules to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience. We will send you a guide as well as provide this inside the property (If we forget, pls ask for it). Please acknowledge this before using it. No Exceptions on child safety, please ensure that the Hot Tub is locked anytime it is not in use. Pls don’t touch anything in the hot tub except the 2 buttons - not the filter housing or the floating chlorine ball. This is important for its optimum functioning. We have a Fire pit and firewood available for your use, kindly refer to the guide on Airbnb before you create a fire outside. It is very important to follow fire safety and follow the wind patterns.
