Tiny cottage + sauna near the beach

This cozy cottage has it all, in one small package! Carry your morning coffee across the street to the beach, let your stresses melt away in the private sauna, or visit one of the many gems of Black Creek. Our kitchen area has everything you need for simple meal preparation, bathroom has a small shower and is stocked with fluffy towels and all the essentials. Ship-style stairs (steep) lead to the upper floor: the sitting and sleeping area. Not suitable for kids or anyone with limited mobility. The space The lower floor hosts an eating nook with custom built table, and a simple kitchenette with everything you need: mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, kettle, single induction cooktop, and a few basic spices and cookware to make your cooking simpler. Our coffee cart is stocked with ground coffee, tea, a French press, Keurig, and kettle. The bathroom is stocked with fluffy towels, an "oops I forgot..." basket, and shower essentials. Guests who are staying longer will love the under-stair storage for suitcases or large gear. Up the ship-stairs you find the sitting and sleeping area. You can cozy up and read in the armchairs, pen a letter to an old friend at the custom built desk (made from an antique treadle sewing machine), or wrap yourself in the linen duvet and watch clouds through the skylight over the queen size bed. Guest access The entire cabin, sauna, and fenced area is your space for the duration of your stay. Other things to note This cabin is close to our house and shares a fence with our backyard, where our children play, our oversized husky cross roams, and where our chicken coop is. While we do our best to keep the noise levels low, if you are outside you will likely hear our kids playing, our chickens squawk, and our husky bark.
