Sleeps up to 10 · 2 bedrooms · 3 double beds · 2 queen beds · 2 extra single futons 1 bathroom + 1 shower room · Toilets on both floors ■ Room Details ■ 【Ground Floor】 Doma Kitchen & Dining The heart of the home — a spacious earthen-floor kitchen with a solid camphor wood counter, perfect for gathering to cook and eat together. Equipped with: refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, 5.5-cup rice cooker, full cookware, 2-burner IH cooktop, portable gas stove, tableware, children's tableware, cutlery, and basic seasonings. (*The traditional okudo hearth is available as a paid add-on.) Help yourself to complimentary tea, coffee, and green tea. We choose seasonings that are as natural and additive-free as possible. Also on this floor: a bathroom with bathtub, washbasin, and a separate toilet. 【Second Floor】 Bedrooms Bedroom 1 (carpeted): 2 queen beds Bedroom 2 (tatami-mat): 3 double beds *Two separate rooms make it easy for multiple families to share the house. Sleeps up to 10. (Please note: rooms do not have locks.) Two extra single-size futon sets are also available. Also on this floor: a shower room, washbasin, and toilet — so no one needs to head downstairs at night. Safe and convenient for children. 【Garden & Exterior】 A Japanese garden that changes with the seasons. Free on-site parking for 5 cars. ■ Amenities ■ · 100% cotton bath and face towels · Toothbrushes (standard Japanese size) · 3 hair dryers · Body soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap · Washer-dryer (detergent provided), drying rack, hangers *Please bring your own pajamas. One towel set is provided per guest; a washing machine is available if you need more. Please bring toothbrushes for children. ■ Dining Option: Okudo Hearth ■ Book the traditional gas okudo (kamado hearth) in advance for a truly memorable meal — freshly cooked hagama rice and charcoal-grilled dishes, available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Plans: · Self-Service — ¥3,000 / group For guests who are comfortable handling fire. Ingredients not included; bring your own and cook as you like. · Dining with the Host — ¥10,000 / group (ingredients included) ¥2,000 per additional guest for groups of 5 or more. Your host — a local hunter — will prepare freshly cooked hagama rice and charcoal-grilled wild boar. Sit around the hearth, share Japanese home cooking, and enjoy a warm evening together. We run the experience as a couple, and our young daughters often join the table — making it a genuine, family-style gathering. *Availability depends on the date and reservation status. Please let us know at booking if you're interested, and we'll follow up with the details. ■ Babies & Children Welcome ■ Toys, a baby bath, children's tableware, and a high chair are all provided. ■ BBQ Policy ■ Open flames, fire pits, and BBQ grills are not permitted in the garden. ■ Please Note ■ · This is a traditional house in a nature-rich area, so insects may occasionally find their way inside despite our precautions. If you are strongly uncomfortable around insects, you may wish to reconsider booking. If anything does appear, our staff will come and take care of it right away. · The house sits along a road, so you may notice some traffic noise at night. ■ Check-in / Check-out ■ Check-in: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM (please let us know if you'll arrive after 8:00 PM) Check-out: by 10:00 AM Early check-in: available on request Guest access Our property is rented as an entire house for your private use. Guests are welcome to use the entire building freely; however, please note that certain areas of the premises are restricted and off-limits. Other things to note The house retains its original wooden beams, so please watch your head especially on the lower ones. The stairs are a little steep, so please take care, particularly with children or elderly guests. Please remove your shoes indoors. Slippers are available for the doma area. While there is no TV, we do provide a Bluetooth speaker so you can enjoy music and good conversation during your stay. Should any damage occur during your stay, please inform us immediately. In certain cases, repair costs may apply. Please ensure the number of guests matches your booking reservation. Extra guests without notice may not be permitted. By law, we are required to ask you to fill in some basic details (name, address, occupation) at check-in. We appreciate your understanding.
