Come stay for a relaxing peaceful time in the woods overlooking the San Gabriel River. It is a safe wonderful get-a-way for fresh air, shaded walks , picnic or floating at the river. River floating is dependant on rainfall. We have Volleyball, Cornhole, Horseshoes, Tetherball, Firepit, and a Pool for you and your family and friends to enjoy. Just let us know , and we will provide the equipment . Sorry but we will not be able to host parties. The Cabin has its own driveway. It is 900 square ft and very roomy . It is completely furnished with linens , cooking utensils, and there is a charcoal grill to use. There is River access with wading ,fishing, and hiking. The pool is available for you while you stay here, and you will have the pool to yourself and your family. The pool is about 270 ft from Cabin, and is closer to our home backyard more so than the cabin backyard. It is covered in the winter. We have a Zebra and a Donkey in our front pasture to enjoy. We ask that our guests be cautious around them for safety. We will provide floats for the river. We have created Hiking paths around the property, and there is a map inside the Cabin of the paths. Due to Covid 19, we are disinfecting the entire Cabin with special attention to door knobs , cabinet knobs etc. We will respect social distancing until further notice, but will come meet you and be available should you need us. All of the amenities are still available for our guests including the pool until it is winterized mid October. We must be notified in advance of any visitors coming to visit our guests. There is shopping and restaurants in the sweet small town of Liberty Hill . We are 7 minutes from 183A toll, and Metro Train Depot into Austin. We are 15-20 minutes from Historic Steam Train into Burnet called" Hill Country Flyer" 66 mile round trip. 10 minutes from HEB Cedar Park Center for Events/Concerts. There is a highly rated restaurant (by Travel and Leisure magazine) called" Dahlias" with live music, dance floor Friday and Sat. nights, with great food just off Hwy 29. There is a brand NEW brewery called "Hell or Highwater" 5 min away in downtown Liberty Hill with wonderful food and atmosphere. Some other terrific restaurants highly rated are Majors burger company, Malted grains, Jardin Corona, and Liberty Hill Beer Market. We are 10 minutes from a very large grocery store called HEB. There is a small grocery 5 minutes away in Liberty Hill called Parkers. Several people have asked if we can host a party of different kinds, and we will not be able to accommodate that request.
