StClair West Modern Oasis - Toronto midtown

Our renovated Oasis apartment is perfect for business travellers, couples, solo adventurers & small families. Need a place for 28-90 days to work, visit or settle into Toronto while moving here? This might be the place to stay. For shorter stays, message us. Self check in is available. We are reachable. Our lower-level, roomy apt. is in Toronto's St Clair West. Full kitchen to cook in or many close restaurants for take out. The Oasis is walking distance to groceries, liquor store, & transit. The space The Kitchen is fully equipped for making meals with all modern appliances- full fridge, with freezer, gas stove, microwave and dishwasher. There are table settings for 4 and a table to eat or work at. There is also a separate desk to work at in the apartment as well. We have kids games and books and a few books for adults as well, so everyone can learn and play. There is a projector and an Apple TV for movies or webcasts in the living room. We have several visual artists in the family, and we enjoy art and culture, so the apartment has original artwork, and design furniture and objects. We love light-filled spaces, so the apartment, which is a lower level, but with 8 foot ceilings, has windows in every room, lots of dimmable LED pot lights and area lighting, so you can customize your light level according to your mood. We chose a bright Scandinavian palette, white with splashes of colour, and a sand-coloured concrete floor. There is heating and cooling as part of the house, but the thermostat is in our section of the house. However, there are also 2 area heaters in the unit for you to supplement heating, and fans for additional cooling. Reach out to us with any concerns and we'll adjust the thermostat within reason. Our bathroom features a rain shower, and our marble bathroom floor is heated for extra comfort. Recently we've installed stacked washer and dryer, so doing your laundry is a breeze! Guest access Our backyard is nice to hang out in and in the summer there is a garden and chickens. Summer is enjoyable in our yard, with comfortable Muskoka chairs, dappled light from the apple trees, and a trampoline for the kids. Feel free to explore the back yard, and if the hens are laying, you can have some fresh eggs for breakfast! Other things to note The Oasis apt is separate and private, but because it's part of a 100 year old house, you will hear us moving about and talking when we are in our kitchen or living room. Take note that we have 2 young boys that get up early and sometimes horse around. We also have a dog named Biggy and if someone's at the door, you'll hear him bark a few times. There is sound insulation surrounding the Oasis apt so noises are dampened, but sound travels through the heat ducts and the water pipes as well. We hope family noises don't disturb you. We will try to keep it down in the mornings :). Some people may find it reassuring to hear life nearby. Don't hesitate to tell us that you are trying to sleep if we are disturbing you.
