This beautiful large holiday house sleeps 9 in 4 bedrooms; 2 four-legged family members are also welcome. All on one level, with a ramp up to the front door, the home also is perfect for guests with limited mobility. The house oozes style and luxury with 2 super-king doubles, a twin and a bunk room (with a lower double and upper single). The open-plan living and dining area has large patio windows overlooking Loch Ewe from where otters, seals, sea eagles and a host of other wildlife are regularly spotted. There is a log-burner for those cooler evenings. The kitchen is kitted with all the modern conveniences for a comfortable stay and the wifi is high speed. Wild swimming and fishing are just steps from the front door. Kids can catch crabs from the pier at the shoreline. The pet-friendly local pub, the local cafe serving delicious coffee and cake, and the local shop – all are within a few minutes stroll. There are numerous shoreline, riverside or hill walks right from the door! Miles of pristine empty beaches are in every direction. For those rainy days, the local indoor pool is a 5 minute walk away and a perfect way to spend an afternoon with the kids. The lack of light pollution makes our house an ideal spot to star-gaze and view the Northern Lights – several of our guests have posted their incredible dancing lights photos from the lounge! We truly believe the house is in THE perfect location for a kid-friendly, dog-friendly, multi-generational family holiday or for a group of friends. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy whale watching trips from Gairloch. There is bird watching, stalking, otter spotting, salmon and trout fishing in the River Ewe and the lovely National Trust Inverewe Gardens are just a 15 minute stroll away. Outdoor lovers have the numerous hill walking routes from low to high level walks. There is sea kayaking and paddle boarding right from outside the house and of course wild swimming, fishing and excellent running routes. Miles and miles of pristine and empty beaches are in every direction – Mellon Udrigle, Firemore, Grunyard Bay, Gairloch Sands, Big Sand and Red Point are all top favourites with kids, adults and dogs alike. This may just be the best holiday you’ve ever had!
