Discover Bungalow Casa María, a peaceful, inviting, pet-friendly retreat in La Barra de Colotepec, 5 minutes from the tranquil beach and river. Ideal for families & friends. Near Casona Sforza (Condé Nast Traveller) and Loma Beach Club (Gabriela Cámara / Contramar), 10 minutes from La Punta, known for surf. Four double bunk beds and outdoor space perfect for relaxing. The space The bungalow is part of a larger property. I live on the upper level of the main house with my two female rescue dogs, who are very friendly and loving. We also have hens and geese living in their own designated enclosure within the property. The main house is currently under construction; however, work has been paused for over a year, so there is no active construction or noise. The bungalow is fully finished and ready to be enjoyed. While the bungalow is private, the main gate, parking area, and yard are shared spaces. Guest access Guests have full access to the bungalow, the pool, and outdoor areas. Access to the property is through a shared main gate, as well as the parking area and yard. Other things to note As we are surrounded by nature, you may encounter small local wildlife such as geckos or insects, which are part of the ecosystem. We avoid using harsh chemicals to respect the environment. If needed, you’ll find insecticide under the kitchen sink, which you are welcome to use as needed. We are a pet-friendly space, so it is important that pets are sociable, non-aggressive, and always supervised, especially in shared areas.
