Complete with indoor swimming pool, sauna and fabulous well maintained tennis court, your holiday will have everything you need to relax, unwind and have fun with friends and family. The space Nestled on the picturesque North Downs in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of the Kent countryside, Wealden Hall House is a magnificent 15th-century timber-framed Tudor home, steeped in history and surrounded by nature. Set within 7 acres of pasture, paddock, and gardens, the house sits peacefully at the end of a quiet country lane beside the ancient 13th-century St Peter’s Church and within walking distance of the magnificent King's Wood. A spacious sitting room with an inglenook fireplace offers the quintessential countryside living, ideal for relaxing by the fire with an award-winning local Kentish sparkling wine, such as a glass of elegant Domaine Evremond from the nearby Taittinger vineyard or the ever-delicious Chapel Down Brut. As you arrive, a large lawn opens up on your left, with the striking black-and-white façade of the Hall House to your right. The main driveway has parking for 3 cars and an electric vehicle charging point, with additional parking available by the tennis court and pool house. The house is entered via a mature, sunny garden, alive with birdsong and cherry blossom in spring, roses in summer, and dotted with seating areas for soaking up the views of the surrounding gardens and fields. Whether you're enjoying coffee under the trees or dining alfresco beside the lavender beds, there's always a peaceful corner to relax in. Inside, the house blends character and comfort, with modern conveniences tastefully co-existing with the original Tudor oak beams, ancient floorboards, and mullioned windows. The ground floor includes: • A breakfast room filled with morning light • A stylish Neptune kitchen with range cooker, dishwasher, underfloor heating, and everything you need to cook and host. • A classic dining room seating 8–10 • A large, beamed sitting room, a huge inglenook fireplace (with logs provided), comfy sofas and armchairs, and a Smart TV • A utility room with washer and dryer • A downstairs WC Upstairs, the house sleeps up to 10 guests across four bedrooms, and there is an additional second family bathroom with twin sinks and a freestanding bath. • The Hall Bedroom – a majestic vaulted room with King post and a king-size four-poster bed. Up a small staircase, on the mezzanine are two twin beds, ideal for children or extra guests • Bedroom 2 – in the 1625 crosswing and views over the front garden and towards the church is a king-size bed with luxurious 2000 pocket sprung mattress • Bedroom 3 – a cosy double bedroom with luxury Button and Sprung mattress can be accessed via a separate spiral staircase with a large en-suite bathroom (full bath, basin, WC, clothes hanging space) that can be shared with the master bedroom. • Bedroom 4 – a cosy double with garden views and luxurious pocket sprung mattress from Heals All pillows and bedding is from The White Company and John Lewis, ensuring a luxurious and restful stay. The 16-metre indoor heated swimming pool and sauna is in the pool house across the garden. The pool house is painted with murals from Italian Renaissance paintings, including Botticelli's Venus and The Three Graces from Primavera, transporting you to a Tuscan landscape while you swim. The pool house building also includes: • Changing rooms • A sauna • Shower room • WC • Outdoor sun terrace with loungers The pool house is centrally heated, and the water is heated year-round to approximately 28°C. The well-maintained astro tennis court is available for guest use, with a good supply of rackets and balls provided. If you would like to sharpen your game, our friendly tennis coach is available for private or group lessons WiFi is fast and reliable throughout the house and gardens, thanks to range extenders, making it ideal for remote work or streaming. Heating is provided by radiators in all rooms and underfloor heating in the kitchen. Logs are provided for cosy evenings in front of the fire. The house is family-friendly (a highchair is available), and up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. There are no specific child-safety features, and although the stairs aren’t particularly steep, some of the doorways are quite low—so mind your head! Just a short stroll away lies King’s Wood, 1,500 acres of ancient woodland filled with bluebells in April and May and roaming deer which are sometimes seen as they run across your path. The house is surrounded by beautiful countryside walks in every direction. The George Pub, Restaurant & Bar serves award winning food and drink within a 5-minute stroll. The village of Molash is a 90-minute drive from central London, and fast trains from St Pancras to nearby Ashford International take just 37 minutes.
