Nestled above the peaceful Dyfi Valley lowlands located up a hiddlen valley you’ll find Hendre-gau, a traditional 16th century welsh longhouse. The cottage is surrounded by nature with all the comforts you’ll need, it also offers spectacular views and a great place to relax and recharge. Great base for exploring the Dyfi Valley and Snowdonia National Park. • 3 miles from the historic town of Machynlleth • 5 mins from Dyfi Bike Park • 5 mins from Dyfi Osprey centre • 20 minutes from the beach The space Hendre-gau cottage is located on our family farm above the Dyfi Valley Facilities include the following: Bedrooms Bedroom1: 1x Double bed + (Mezzanine has an extra single bed) Suitable for children over 7years Bedroom 2: 2x Single beds Kitchen - fridge & small freezer compartment, toaster, gas cooker, dishwasher Bathroom - Shower & Bath Wood burner and underfloor heating throughout WIFI and good 4G signal. Parking for approx 2-3 cars We allow 1 well behaved dog - £10 per dog per stay The following are provided: - Duvets and pillows - Towels - Toilet paper - Salt and Pepper - Tea/Coffee/Sugar - Cutlery and crockery - Cooking utensils - BBQ - Basket of logs Other things to note Mach Loop: Occasionally you will hear some plane training on the Mach loop. The Mach Loop is a set of valleys, situated between Dolgellau in the north, and Machynlleth in the south (and from which the Mach Loop gets its name), which are regularly used for low level flight training, with flying as low as 250 feet (76 metres) from the nearest terrain. Gentle reminder that you are staying on the grounds of a working farm and surrounded with nature and livestock.
