1890 Victorian House - An Incredible Experience!

Relax and enjoy comfortable and spacious rooms filled with Victorian charm; truly a home away from home. This beautifully preserved 1890s Victorian-era home is minutes away from all Monett has to offer, and conveniently located within comfortable driving distance to popular area attractions found in Branson, Eureka Springs, Springfield, Fayetteville, Roaring River (inside the Mark Twain National Forest), and other Ozarks locations. The space Located in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in back yard, this home has 3 bedrooms, a family room with additional sleeping space, living room, dining room, kitchen, a large screened in porch, washer and dryer, central A/C & heating, and 3 bathrooms (1 with a bathtub/shower combo and the other 2 with showers). The master bedroom is on the main floor and has an en-suite shower room. The additional 2 bedrooms and family room are upstairs along with the full bath. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics and more (if there is something you believe the kitchen is missing, please let us know!). A full sized refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee bar, cooking basics, dinnerware, flatware … please see the photos for specifics. Coffee / Tea station: Keurig pod and drip maker, French press, electric kettle, coffee, tea This home offers 3 flat-screen televisions: 1 in the living room, 1 in the family room upstairs, and 1 in the master bedroom. Wifi is also included. We do our best to minimize or totally eliminate the use of harsh chemicals; all linens and towels are washed using human-friendly and environmentally-friendly products with no scents. Real essential oils may be used in some of the cleaning products. Laundry soap is provided. All towels and sheets are 100% cotton. Safety items include smoke detectors, a carbon monoxide detector, a fire extinguisher, and a basic first aid kit. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property* via self check in; your access code will be provided before check-in. Parking is provided on the north side of the house using the driveway, or directly in front of the home on the street. Please note that this home is not wheelchair accessible. *The basement is strictly off limits, however it may be used in the unlikely event of a tornado. Other things to note We have a local farmers market downtown every Saturday from 9am-12pm May through September. We also have several nice local restaurants and food trucks. Our downtown area will often have live music on the weekends. There are a few parks here as well: a smaller park is downtown. The North Park has a skatepark, playground, tennis courts, basketball court, and ball fields. South Park has the largest playground, several pickle ball courts, tennis courts, basketball, soccer fields, various picnic pavilions, a nice disk golf course, a little lake, and is a popular place to take a walk or run. This is also right near a golf course and the local YMCA. You'll find a binder in the home that is filled with local and area information / attractions. For those who might not know, older homes are filled with personality; unlike newer homes, some of the floors are a little slanted, some of the walls have a few cracks, windows may stick, and so on. We believe all of these things add to the character and life of our home. Absolutely no smoking, no pets, no parties. SPECIAL NOTE: Due to the age of this home, guests are restricted to 9 years old and above. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, however we must put safety first (mainly, some of the windows are floor to ceiling).
