This unique and cozy space is ideal for couples or solo trips. Equipped with a mini fridge, toaster oven/air fryer, microwave and kuerig. The space This tiny house glamping escape sits on nearly two acres of a parklike, peaceful setting. Just down the hill from over 2,000 acres of a hiker’s dream: a state forest & nature preserve. Enjoy a beautiful hike any time of year or kayak down the nearby Tioughnioga River, take a dip in the wading pool just beyond the pines during the warm months or drive the quick trip to the blueberry farm over the hill. You can also head to Greek Peak ski resort and be on the slopes in only about 10 minutes. If you’re a snowmobiler, there are several nearby trails during the snowy season: this location has anything the adventurer in you may want to do. If you’d rather just enjoy the escape from every-day life, the micro A-frame is 240 square feet of temperature controlled comfort. The cozy queen sized bed is the perfect place to nap or snuggle, watch a movie, read a book, chat with your other half, or just lay and think about whatever your mind desires; you’ll have everything you need to make your glamping escape as comfortable as can be. Equipped with a Keurig and countertop electric burners, air fryer/toaster oven, smart tv, mini fridge, microwave, mini split and grid powered electric for anyone who’d rather just stay inside and soak up this beautiful interior space, too. There is a bathhouse only a few steps away with a triple-filtered, freshwater stream-fed hot shower and a fully functioning sink for washing hands, dishes, or whatever you need to clean up after some nature adventures. *This water is not for drinking, but is absolutely safe for washing hands, bodies, dishes, etc. Guest access The entire property may be used, which is nearly 2 acres. This includes a stream as well as a swimming hole during warmer months. Other things to note IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE: during the winter months, it’s likely the shower and sink may not work. Remember, this is “glamping” and there’s not traditional, plumbed in water. Usually it’s fine, but please plan your trip accordingly, knowing there likely will not be a shower or sink available (remember, it is glamping!) The dry toilet is fine year-round.
