Free public parking a few steps from the house. Other things to note We are Mikel and Amaia, and Troi Landetxea is our little family project. We renovated the cottage in 2025 to create the kind of place where you slow down the moment you walk through the door. This valley has a history that most visitors don't know about. Troi is named after the former mining area that, for centuries, extracted the iron that supplied steel mills across half of Europe. We are so passionate about it that we have written a historical novel trilogy set here — Íñigo Arriola — featuring a muleteer from Mutiloa during the First Carlist War. The first installment is on our blog. The mountains you see from the window are the actual setting. You come to rest. You leave with a story to tell.
