It's the ideal setting for families, friends, or small groups seeking a comfortable and well-located home base. We strive to offer a clean and inviting atmosphere and trust that our guests will treat our home with respect and care. LOCATION Our home is situated at the corner of Johnson’s Harbour Rd. and Dorcas Bay Rd., offering a prime waterfront location. You'll find you're just a short drive from the area's top destinations: ● Singing Sands Beach - 15 minutes ● Tobermory Village Centre- 20 minutes ● The Grotto - 25 minutes ● Lion’s Head - 30 minutes WHAT THIS PLACE OFFERS This property can host up to 10 guests (with a maximum of 8 adults) across 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. We have equipped the home with all the necessities for a truly relaxing stay. 🛏 Sleeping Arrangements: All bedrooms are prepared with fresh bed linens, pillows, and a duvet for your comfort. (Please note that extra linens are not supplied). 🚿 Bathrooms: Each bathroom is supplied with fresh bath towels, a hand towel, and essential bath products. 🍳 Kitchen: The kitchen is fully appointed with high-end appliances and a complete set of cookware, bakeware, dishes, and cutlery. You'll also find a selection of common spices and seasonings. The outdoor space features patio furniture, a BBQ with propane included, and a dedicated campfire pit. Please use only the designated area for fires and ensure they are completely extinguished after use. If you anticipate needing specific items beyond what is listed, we suggest bringing them with you to ensure a seamless stay. Guest access Contactless check-in with a smart lock code provided before your trip. You will have access to the entire cottage except a storage room in the basement. Other things to note RENTAL POLICY 🏡 Occupany and Guests: 👥 This property accommodates a maximum of 10 guests, with a limit of 8 adults. 📝 Only guests who are part of the official booking are allowed on the premises. 🚫 Visitors are not permitted on the property at any time unless prior arrangements have been made and approved. 🎉 Parties, events, or unregistered individuals are not allowed and could lead to cancellation of your reservation without a refund. 🛋 Property Guidelines: 🐾 Pets: To ensure a hypoallergenic environment for all visitors, we have a strict no-pet policy. 👟 Shoes: We maintain a no-shoe policy indoors throughout the year to create a clean space for families with young children. Guests are encouraged to bring their own indoor footwear. 🗑 Trash Disposal: To prevent attracting local wildlife, including bears, no trash should be left outside at any point. All trash and recycling must be taken with you when you check out. 🍽 Cleanliness: We kindly request that you help maintain the cleanliness of the house by placing all used dishes in the dishwasher before your departure. 🔒 Safety and Security: 🔥 Fire safety: In accordance with local regulations, fireworks are strictly forbidden. Campfires are only to be made in the designated area and must be fully extinguished after use. 📹 Security Measures: For your safety, security cameras are in operation along the driveway and around the exterior of the house. 🚭 Smoking: Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the home. A smoke detector is in place to monitor air quality. 🔇 Noise: For the comfort of our neighbours, the municipality enforces quiet hours throughout the day. 🎮 Recreation Room Usage: To ensure the enjoyment and safety of all guests in the rec room, please adhere to the following guidelines: 1. 🛋 Furniture Care: Please treat all recliners and chairs with care. Do not stand or jump on the furniture. 2. 📺 Electronics: Handle TV remotes and video game controllers gently and return them to their designated spots after you are finished. 3. 🎱 Game Tables: To protect the surfaces of the pool, ping pong and air hockey tables, no food or beverages are allowed on them. 4. 🏓 Game Equipment: Please play responsibly and refrain from leaning or sitting on the game tables. Ensure all paddles, cues, and other accessories are stored correctly after use. 5. 📚🎲 Books & Board Games – use carefully and return everything to its proper place after use. 6. 🍹Wet bar: We ask that you clean up after using the wet bar area. This includes wiping down counters and washing and putting away any dishes. 7. 🚭 No Smoking/Vaping: Smoking and vaping are prohibited within the rec room. 8. 🎶 Noise Levels: Please be mindful of your volume and maintain a respectful noise level. 9. 👶 Child Supervision: Children MUST be supervised by an adult at all times when in the rec room or using any of the game equipment. 10. 🙏 General Respect: Please treat the recreation space, all equipment, and fellow guests with consideration so that everyone can have a pleasant experience. 11. ⚠️ Damages – guests are responsible for any damage to the rec room, books, games, wet bar items, or equipment and may be charged for repairs or replacement. 🛁 Hot Tub Rules We want you to enjoy the hot tub safely and responsibly! Please follow these rules during your stay: 1. 🚫 No glass in or around the hot tub – use only plastic cups or cans. 2. 🧼 Shower before use – lotions, oils, and dirt can damage the water quality. 3. 👶 Children must be supervised – no unsupervised use by minors. 4. ⏱ Limit soak time – recommended max of 20 minutes at a time. 5. 🧴 Do not add soaps, bubbles, or oils – they can damage the system. 6. 🧊 No food in the hot tub – crumbs and spills clog the filter. 7. 💧 Close the cover after use – helps keep it clean and at temperature. 8. 🚫🧺 Do NOT leave towels outside. Return towels to the washrooms. 9. 🚫💧Do NOT drain the hot tub. 10. ⚠️ Health advisory – pregnant women, individuals with heart conditions, or anyone under the influence of alcohol/drugs should consult a doctor before using. 11. 🚭 No smoking or vaping in the hot tub. 12. 🙏 Damages – guests are responsible for any misuse or damage and may be charged for repairs or cleaning.
