The space The apartment is located on the top (European 4th, American 5th) floor of a charming, older building. Please note there is no elevator, but the view from the top is definitely worth the climb! Guest access When you're staying at my place, you get access to more than just a private room. I truly hope you can feel at home in the apartment’s shared common areas that you're going to me sharing with only me, who owns the apartment. 🛌 Your private bedroom In your private bedroom, you will find * Bed made up upon check-in, as well as a fresh towel. The pillow is filled with down and feathers from muscovy ducks, let me know before arrival if you want a vegan pillow instead. * Wardrobe rail with hangers and a shelf so you can unpack your belongings * Map of the local area and an umbrella * Blackout curtain on the window * A selection of short and easy-to-read books in English, including poetry and short story collections – perfect for a quiet moment 🧑‍🍳 Fully equipped kitchen You have access to a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing your own meals. The kitchen includes: * Dining table with a view of the city and the mountains Løvstakken, Damsgårdsfjellet, and Lyderhorn, offering gorgeous sunsets * Dishwasher for easy cleanup * Your own shelf in the refrigerator for your groceries * Organic hand soap and dish soap 🛋️ Living room with a view Relax in the bright and cozy living room where you'll find * A comfortable sofa and a warm wool blanket * A dining/work table with a great view of the city and the mountains Løvstakken, Damsgårdsfjellet, and Lyderhorn * A foot massager for you to use! Please be kind and wear clean, dry socks when using it, for hygiene reasons * A wood-burning fireplace – perfect for creating a warm and cozy atmosphere on chilly evenings 🚿 Bathroom with a focus on sustainability In the bathroom, I have prioritized wellness and the environment. Here you will find * Organic hand soap and hand cream * Organic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash * You are welcome to use the washing machine and dryer to wash clothes, for a fee of 50 NOK each. 🧳 Check-ins/check outs/luggage storing Check-in is from 17:00. If if the room hasn’t been booked the night before your arrival, it’s most likely accessible for an early check-in. Just ask, and we’ll figure something out! If the room isn’t ready for early check-in (e.g., due to the previous guest leaving the same day as you arrive) you’re, most likely, welcome to place your luggage here. Check-out by 11:00. Sometimes it’ll be possible to store your luggage in the hallway outside the room, if you want to explore the city before your departure. I try to be flexible, but early check-ins, late check-outs and luggage storage must be agreed upon at least seven days in advance, as it depends on the cleaning schedule and other bookings. Other things to note 🐶 Sometimes I dog sit the sweetest, most polite, and quietest dog. I’ll be with her the entire time (and she’ll be in my bedroom when I’m not home). ——— The apartment is located in a charming neighborhood, an ideal location for those who want an authentic Bergen experience.
