Big Bear Group Cabin Rentals 541 Knickerbocker Road We have hosted thousands of guests from all over the world since 2007. We have an on-site manager who greets you to handle check in, and lives next door and keeps watch over the property for everyone's safety. This is not a luxury rental. 1 bedroom has a queen bed and all other rooms have adult bunk beds. (see bed list below) We have budget prices to sleep large groups, and fantastic location. Please don't expect luxury accommodations. No Pets policy. Sorry, we have kids with allergies and we keep an allergy free space. Please use airbnb search filters and choose a pet friendly host. This 2 bedroom rental sleeps 6 maximum. (If you have a larger family, you can add another room or unit next door. (Please ask) Kitchen has a fridge, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and cooktop. Nice sunny deck with tables for outdoor eating. There is no backyard space included in this listing. We provide kitchen dish soap and a sponge. We provide k-cups and coffee grounds and filters. This rental home includes kitchen and living room area with a wonderful view of the lake, marina, and mountains. Living room area has a dining table, sofa, extra folding chairs, and Large Roku TV (bring your own logins). How many bedrooms are included? If you have 1-2 guests, 1 bedroom is included If you have 3-6 guests, 2 bedrooms are included If you have 7+ guests, ask about our other listings. If you need more bedrooms, just change reservation details and add extra guests to your reservation. This lets us rent to single travelers midweek at a great price, but get a fair price for larger groups and helps cover extra cleaning costs. If you don't rent all bedrooms, the other bedroom(s) are just locked during your stay so we don't have to clean them. In any case, the unit is 100% for you and your guests only. You never share indoor spaces with other guests. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed with Netflix/Amazon app ready smart TV. Bedroom 2 is a bunk room with 3 twin beds and a double bed bottom bunk. 2 full bathrooms are off the hallway. Each has, shower, toilet, sink, with locking door. Crib: pack and play available if you request it during booking process. Parking lot is shared with other units on property. There is plenty of overflow parking nearby. We can always find you a place to park. This is one side of a duplex with a permanently locked door separating it from another rental unit. Considerate noise levels are required. The building has central heating set ~70F/21C. No cooling/AC. Big Bear has cool mountain air 99% of the year. Fans available in room. Please let us know if you are uncomfortable. Safety and security has always been a top priority. Our keypad codes are changed between each guest and our co-hosts live next door should any problems arise. Other private home rentals require you to haul away your trash. Since we are a commercial lodge, you just have to take trash to the garbage cans in our parking lot. Pricing changes with number of guests. Extra guests are not free. Please make sure you are searching with the correct number of guests to see correct pricing. Cancellations: Understand this is a small family business and we can't afford to lose money if you cancel and we aren't able to re-book those dates. Postponing a trip to a later date is considered a cancellation. We recommend you purchase your own travel insurance that meets your needs. Cancellation Policy: Free cancellation for 48 hours, if at least 14 days before check-in. After that, guests can cancel up to 7 days before check-in and get a 50% refund of the nightly rate, and the cleaning fee, but not the service fee. If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded. (We try to go beyond this Airbnb policy and will try to re-rent and refund you as much as possible if you need to cancel last minute. A $30 minimum cancel fee applies in this case.) Weather and Road Conditions are not eligible for cancelations w/refunds. $100 refundable security deposit due before arrival. We may waive the security deposit if you have great reviews from past stays. EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK OUT Check in between 4pm to 10pm. Check out by 10am. We never guarantee early check in or late check out. You can Request early arrival or late departure in our MyTrips app after a confirmed booking. This unit has a $15/hour fee for adjusted arrival/departure times. If your request can be accommodated, we will approve it and you will be notified and charged whether you arrive early or not as we have to pay someone to be ready for your arrival time. EV CHARGING Free charging for our guests (w/Minimum $300 Paid Reservation) $30 cash flat rate otherwise. J1772 Cable (You must provide your own adapter for Tesla) Tesla Supercharger in 2 minutes away and there are other Chargepoint options nearby. Please let us know at the time of booking if you want to charge. Ski Resort: We are 1 mile from Snow Summit. 2 miles to Bear Mountain. There is a free city shuttle just around the corner every 30 minutes. Midweek non holiday there is free parking at the base area. On weekends we suggest driving to the free resort parking and taking the shuttle bus. *subject to change: check the resort website for up to date information. Village Location: There are 20+ fantastic restaurants nearby. Walk to pizza, burgers, Thai, crepes, Poki bowl, Himalayan, fast food, sandwich shop, steak house, Mexican, barbecue, Chinese, Indian, sushi, ice cream, candy shop, Hawaiian, tacos, pancakes, brew pubs and more!  Parking: We have 9 parking spots in our parking lot. (First come first served) But also space for plenty more next door in our overflow lots. We can direct you at arrival. If you have any issues on concerns during your stay, please let us know right away in the airbnb chat, my co-host lives right next door and we want to make sure you are comfortable during your stay.
