Design-led Cabin; An Bothán, Clonakilty

Brand new design-led cabin on the grounds of JP’s Barn - quiet location, a 5 minute drive from Clonakilty town. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Own private entrance, peaceful outdoor seating area to enjoy in a walled garden. The separate bedroom has a king size bed, there is also a sofa bed that fits one and a loft bed for one older child (no adults). Everything has been designed and considered with care and attention for our bothán and we look forward to welcoming you for a unique stay. The space An Bothán is a unique cabin situated in a rural area but near Clonakilty town. There is a separate laneway and private parking area outside this self-contained one bed house. Crafted by sustainable methods this timber frame corrugated steel clad cabin makes for a very stylish and cosy getaway. The Living area has a complete kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. There is a lovely oak dining table which seats up to four as well as a three seater couch and rocking chair. The bathroom has a shower with organic toiletries. A king size bed with plush bed linen is in the separate bedroom. There are charging ports on both sides of the bed, a tv and electric blackout blinds for a very restful night. Outside you can sit on the veranda and enjoy the walled garden. The area is very quiet apart from the odd fox. *One pet max, outdoor area is not enclosed, pet may not be left in cabin for an extended time period. Guest access The eircode leads to our home but this property can be accessed via the R600, it’s 1/3 mile down at the end of a laneway. I will send a map and Google Maps link the morning of your arrival. Key will be in the door or in lockbox (code: 1979). Other things to note HEAT There is a smart electric heater in the living area and smaller remote operated heater in the bedroom. WASTE DISPOSAL You can leave your waste bagged in the cabin or if you need to use any of the four domestic bins they are just around the corner and labelled accordingly. HOT WATER Available constantly during your stay. SMOKING If you’d like to smoke you can do so outside please. DAMAGE If any damage occurs during your stay please inform us, thanks. CHECK-OUT Check out is 12 noon, if you need us to mind bags we can accommodate this. OPTIONAL EXTRAS If you need a blender / baby’s cot / more ware / extra bedding / toys or something specific we might have, please ask.
