Area attractions such as PS21, MacHayden Theater, Art/Omi, Hawthorne Valley, Camphill, Kinderhook Village, Olana, Tanglewood, Hudson, are all within a 30 minute drive. The home is easy to get to, just a couple of miles off the Taconic Parkway. Hudson Amtrak is 20 minutes away. You'll find the home to be bright and sunny, with two dedicated work stations and wi-fi, smart tv's, and a Marshall blue tooth speaker. There's a collection of books, puzzles, and board games to enjoy. The local library is nearby. Free off street parking and a large yard with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. A well stocked kitchen for anyone who wants to cook with the bounty of local farm produce. Nature: enjoy nearby access to conservation trails and woods, lots of hiking and biking in the area. The kitchen is stocked with eco-friendly tools and cookware to support healthy meal preparation, and the cleaning products are plant-based and environmentally conscious. Every detail has been carefully chosen to create a space that’s comfortable, sustainable, and aligned with mindful living. NO shoes in the house, no smoking/vaping/illegal drugs, no parties. Registered guests only. No pets allowed. 2 adult bikes available upon request. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house (with the exception of the basement). We ask that you do not use the fireplace, and that the outbuildings on the property remain private and out of use, unless discussed in advance. Parking There is off street parking enough for two cars. There is a huge yard to sit and relax, watch the birds, play a yard game. You'll also find board games and books inside. Complimentary tea and coffee in the kitchen, there is a Nespresso machine featuring local organic coffee from Tierra Farms and a French coffee press. Kitchen stocked with various pots/pans and baking supplies, and pantry staples. Other things to note Please note that this is a historic home with its own charm and quirks. While we’ve taken great care to make it comfortable, some features may not be perfect. We ask that you treat the space gently and with respect.
