The space Inspired by the love of the area, the Red Door Cabin is newly renovated , sits on 18 wooded acres and has beautiful fruit tress’s only a short walk from the deck. The hosts invite guests to this peaceful cabin in the country. The towns of Cairo, Athens, Catskill, and Coxsackie are within in 10 miles where restaurants and shopping can be found. The space As you enter, you will greeted by a large floor plan with vaulted ceilings and natural wood finishes. Large deck off living room with 2 double doors High-speed internet Heat and air conditioning Fire pit, endless supply of complimentary wood Gas grill 18 acres with a stream All the details From the 2 sets of double doors and expansive deck-guests can see a wide scenic view of the property and fruit trees. Enjoy watching the deer and birds with binoculars supplied for a close up look. The deck has a seating area and picnic table for outside dining. A propane grill is at the bottom of the side stairs. Please cover when not in use. At the side of the cabin is a fire pit and chairs. A complimentary row of firewood is available for your use. The living room has comfy chairs and couch. A smart tv with access to your favorite streaming apps is also located in the living room. The queen room and main bathroom are wheelchair accessible with wide doors and entry to the shower. A coffee and wine bar with both coffee and tea supplied is in the main living space. A fully stocked kitchen with a variety of spices, cookware, stove, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher. Additional information We are in the country and share the property with deer, raccoons, rabbits and an occasional bear so do not leave food or trash outside. You can find insect spray for mosquitoes and ticks in the closet in the mud room. Additional visitors and guests that are not part of the original booking is not permitted, unless permitted by the host. No Smoking of any kind is permitted in the cabin. All guests are responsible for any damages or additional cleaning services if needed. Please treat this home kindly and respectfully. We’ve worked hard to make the cabin a wonderful place to unplug, unwind, and rejuvenate from your busy lives. The Area As mentioned we are conveniently located to some of our favorite quaint towns of Cairo, Catskill, Athens, and Coxsackie. The historical river town of Hudson is 20 minutes away and boasts many antique stores and restaurants. Hunter and Windham mountains are within 30-45 minutes for skiing and hiking. There are multiple golf courses within 20 minutes of the cabin, including Thunderhardt which is a 18 hole championship course less than 10 minutes away . Some of our favorite local spots for a satisfying meal or drink include Julia’s Local ( RoundTop), Yellow Deli, (Coxsackie ), Brewery Lahoff (Climax), and Return Brewing (Hudson and Catskill locations).
