The space is ideal for large gatherings, offering a full kitchen with a wood-burning stove, a cozy living room and all outdoor areas (garden, gazebo, trails) just for your group. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available separately, with a personalized menu of mountain cuisine, made with regional products: local cheeses, vegetables and greens from the garden, seasonal fruits and mountain trout drizzled with Mantiqueira olive oil. Guest access Guests can learn about our craft beers made with pure malt and mountain water, and enjoy a cold beer with grilled trout or a portion of Parmesan cheese with olive oil. Take the opportunity to explore the entire property: garden, trails, stream and a gazebo with a beautiful view of the mountains. The surrounding nature is preserved, with forests, high-altitude fields, stone massifs and a starry sky. There are more than 400 hectares of intact forest in the Serra da Mitra. We are close to the parks: Serra do Papagaio, Itatiaia and the RPPN of Mitra do Bispo, with trails, waterfalls, peaks and historic cheese and olive oil farms. We offer 4x4 tours to explore the region's main attractions. During your stay Hospedaria Pedra da Mitra is a family business. Letícia and Lilo will be on the property, ensuring that everything is perfect for your group. You will have the entire house and all leisure areas for your exclusive use. Our interaction will be discreet, focused on ensuring your privacy, but we will be available by phone or in person to: - Organize the transfer on rainy days. - Prepare dinner (optional service). - Share the story of our craft beer production. Other things to note Access to the guesthouse is by dirt road, usually quiet and in good condition for most of the year. We are located just 5 km from downtown Alagoa. In the rainy season, some stretches can be more challenging, especially for low cars. During these periods, we accompany guests closely and offer transportation from the city center if necessary. For those who like adventure, the route is also a great opportunity to experience the rural climate of Mantiqueira and, on wet days, even have fun with a light off-road. 🚙🌿
