Description

Querceto is a charming medieval village in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by the greenery of the Val di Cecina, between Volterra and the sea of the Etruscan Coast, where our apartments welcome those who are looking for peace and relaxation. The space Merlo is a two-room apartment on the first floor, completely renovated in 2025. At the entrance there is a living room with a fireplace to make the atmosphere cozy and relaxing. Open-plan kitchenette with induction cooktop, oven and large refrigerator. The master bedroom is very spacious and has an ensuite bathroom with shower. The 2 rooms overlook the forest and olive groves. The floors are made of recycled wood parquet. The apartment has air conditioning, WIFI, TV. Pets are not allowed. Guest access The main services for our guests: - Beautiful 16m x 8m swimming pool surrounded by an olive grove, open from June to September; contact us to find out the exact opening day. The pool can be reached both on foot (about 5 minutes from the apartments) and by car. - Bar/Restaurant with authentic Tuscan cuisine and garden in front of the castle. - Visit our winery with wine and oil tasting - Free Wi-Fi in all apartments and common areas - Free laundry Other things to note A visit to the winery with a final tasting of Marchesi Ginori Lisci wines, Montescudaio DOC and extra virgin olive oil is a must for those arriving in Querceto. Visitors will be taken on a short and pleasant walk through the village, discovering the history of the Castle until they reach the wine production sites. The Ginori Lisci family has renovated old premises intended for agricultural activity and the old theater, creating spaces where high-quality wine is produced. The visit ends in our shop "the pantry of the castle", housed in the ancient and suggestive oil mill of the village where the original machinery such as the stone mill is still present and where beautiful vintage photos are displayed.
