Newark town centre and its attractions are 1.5 miles. A two minute walk takes you to a sports activity village, cafe and swimming pool. National cycle route 64 is on the door step. Newark Show Ground is easily accessed as well as all major road/rail links to the area or beyond. Great for work, leisure or stopover. Cyclists - bike storage inc. The space Your room is spacious, en-suite and decorated to a high standard with quality furnishings and cotton linens. It also has air conditioning - a rare find. There is a comfortable double bed, desk, arm chair and built in wardrobes housing iron and ironing board.. For your convenience wifi is included. There is a smart TV , hair dryer, mini fridge, and charging points for your devices. Tea and coffee making facilities are in your room. Tea, coffee, milk and bottled water are supplied. You will also find wine/beer glasses and a bottle opener. If you fancy a night in with a take away there are some trays, plates and cutlery. Your en-suite has a shower, sink and toilet. Fluffy towels are supplied. Shampoo, shower soap etc are provided if you want to travel lite. The property is detached with off road parking large enough for car or transit van. There is a garage and I can store cycles securely at no additional cost. Garage and parking is covered by CCTV. Guest access You have access to your bedroom which has an en-suite shower room with wash basin and W.C. There is an additional toilet downstairs by the entrance. If you need to study/work there is a small desk in your room. If you want to spend some time doing art or need business space you can request the use of my purpose built art studio. This has a work desk, drawing desk and easel and is WiFi connected. During your stay I am chatty and approachable and will do my best to help you. I am happy to interact with you as you want. I operate like a hotel at home so after checking in you are also free to come and go without interacting with me - just as you would in a hotel. Your preference is respected. Other things to note BREAKFAST - There is a wonderful cafe in the sports village (2 minutes on foot) that does great food - especially breakfast. You have a further cafe which is excellent (with great reviews) and only a 10 minute walk. Both are rated highly. In addition there is a great cafe in the local park. If you are in a rush and need ‘grab and go’ there’s always Greggs (open from 6am) which is 5 minutes away on foot. Details of these can be found in the welcome folder in your room .
